No idea about him but apparently he’s great at scoring headed goals. Usually such players come with a bit of physicality and aggression so it’s a good start. Seems to hit double figures in the league every season.

Can’t say he sounds like the striker I’ve been dreaming of but if Mourinho wants him then I hope we get him. Ultimately if we’re going to loan someone, a player like that who’d see us as a last chance to prove he can hack the big time might be hungrier than some who has done it all and is now struggling at a bigger club so sees us as easy game time.

Hate the “English source” rule. As though the Benteke thread deserved 15 pages of drivel based on one throwaway line in the guardian, but if Bild or L’Equipe runs a four page story about us we have to wait until it’s picked up by the Daily Star.

JJ saying Piatek is one of the options we are looking at. He’s the one that makes the most sense to me that I’ve seen thus far.

Piatek is probably the best option we have available to us. Younger than all the other targets we’ve heard touted, more of a longer term signing, so will have a bit of time to adapt to English football.

Matches what Jose says about not just signing someone for the short term. Has to be the most sensible approach.
