Hopefully Lo Celso didn’t get injured at the end. Really liked the trio with him, Lamela and Eriksen

Also Tanganga what a beast, I’ve known this for more than 2 years but nice to see him to it at pro level

Yeah he's not the best in the world, but I think he's better than Vorm ever was for us, and people talk about Lloris as if he isn't exactly the same. I watch games like this and see shots which Lloris would save but PG doesn't, and ones that PG does and you just know Lloris would have flapped at it. I'm sure we'll be reminded of it soon enough.

I'm not bothered about the fact that we need a better goalkeeper, but I'm vexed at the suggestion that Hugo is going to be any different.

Thought we were powder puff 2nd half, those d*ck brains up front made us look so poor at times & any highballs into our box have us under pressure.

He got himself into good scoring positions two times in a short amount of time. He bungled both chances, but come on - he did well in the short time he got.

As a number 2 he is fine and he does some things very well but he just is not an elite keeper. His positioning is suspect and a number of goals can be attributed to him.

I thought we deserved to get a bit of a jolt there, slacked off way too early and at any level it is asking for trouble. I can get if Jose thinks Dier, Lamela, Lo Celso etc. needed 90 minutes of football, but the reality was that you could have subbed any and all of them 10-15 mins before one of them got the chop as they'd completely run out of steam. I'd have liked to see say Skipp on as an injection of a bit of hunger and keenness to impress as our performance levels tailed off.

Got the job done, should have been much more emphatic but on to the next round....

If i was manager Id get Eriksen in the gym and maybe boxing lessons or MMA, he needs to toughen up, a bit too late now though.

Until 89 minutes Gazza had been very good. Their goal was as much down to our defender backing off and not closing down their forward as Gazza’s pathetic dive.
