From the post match interview I'm not sure Dele is sold on Mourinho.
I wouldn’t read too much into that. He’s form has been under scrutiny by some in the media and I think he reacted worse when poch subbed him a few weeks back. He needs to get over his injuries and find his form, he just don’t need to be reminded by the media all time. He will be an integral part of mourinhio’s team.

I know what you're getting at as he wasnt best pleased at being subbed and not exactly grinning from ear to ear in post match interview either.
Still its been a long week and cant read much into that. If JM picks him most games and plays him behind Kane he'll be well on board.

I think he’s fed up the same people praising him one week then criticising him the next. He’s had enough and doesn’t seem happy about it. So wants to make the point in interviews.

Maybe he is genuinely upset Poch has gone and that’s why Mourinho wants to make him feel so wanted.

Just back from the game, we controlled the game briliantly.

Dier and Winks were instrumental in this control.

A combination of Dier getting tired (not sure but I thnk he has played about 3 games since last December)loosened this control.

Toby was brilliant at the back, even Aurier looked decent today.

Dele back to his impudent self, Harry was Harry and Son is a managers dream can see the Madrids and Barcas casting glances his way.

I think Mourinho got every call right today. Dier is not match sharp, but there were signs of his old self in that prefered role. Dier can pass, in fact he is very solid on the ball, he just needs time to get back to where he was a few seasons back. Aurier as the senior RB was given his chance and for the most part gave a good performance. Cracking pass for Harry's goal. Alderwiereld is back in the fold and there is talk of him signing another contract. On the other hand Eriksen was benched but still given his chance. I am sure this was predetermined and all about the contract situation. We know what a player he can be, but Jose is showing him that you can be in or you can be out, (and showing him how it feels both ways), but you are going to have to make a decision right now. Eriksen is all over the place on the pitch at the moment, but he needs to make that decision and then move on or out from there. Again, I think Mourinho has dealt with the situation perfectly.

A really good video with Mourinho from the club channel. Worth a watch. The second goal was something we’d practiced in training.

As Joe Cole says, credit to Aurier as he has been bad before today, but today was excellent.

For the whole defence it probably helps that we decided not to play out from the back. It is one less thing the entire team has to think about and they can focus on other areas of their games. I can why managers do it but I think over the course of a game it causes more hassle than it’s worth.

Excellent start, full backs defending deeper and the less suicidal positioning of the center backs. Dier and Winks mopping up most of the Pikey midfield threat.

COYS!

I hate the trend for playing it out from the back; I think that it's not worth it overall in a risk vs reward analysis. Knowing that Mourinho doesn't insist on trying this at all times as an inflexible dogma is the first and most immediate thing that I'm looking forward to enjoying in our games compared to the Pochettino era.

Reading some post really does confirm to me how fickle some fans are , how quickly people forget.

Let’s all wait and see. Great to see us win again

Exactly who is arguing that Sissoko was more important for us last season than Son or Kane.
Also kinda proves that the players didn't down tools perse, and as much as I love Poch, he was not doing his job 100% properly.

We have a good run in. Arsenal, City, Pool, United, Leicester at hone. Top 4 is possible

It’s not impossible but we are relying on Leicester and Chelsea to drop quite a few points between now and the end of the season
