Mourinho is not a fit for us. His best days are well behind him, his last two clubs he has upset and unsettled players. He will not get on with Levy and the clubs transfer policy which means he will in a short space of time go into a strop and start blaming everybody else for our bad results if they continue. Sorry he's yesterdays man and will not do this club any good at all. Having said all that he is the only top name available at the moment and Levy would not have fired Poch with out someone lined up so it looks like it's him but he is not the man to turn our season around. The football will be defensive and boring with plenty of 0-0 results.
I'm not looking forward to the rest of the season if Mourinho comes even less than if Poch had stayed.

With Mourinho at least we will get proper insight and analysis post match. Was so sick of Poch waffling and saying nothing at all. Was so uninteresting even during the good times which was fine but his limited English was always a bit annoying.
Someone mentioned they were so sick and tired of him using the same adjective all the time. What word is that? "Dynamic"?

I think it'll be a marked difference from the established squad members.

I would say if Mourinho comes in then nothing is off the table, including Eriksen doing a 180.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. I could see him staying under Jose.

Would be interesting to see how the players respond. Eriksen is obviously 100% off regardless but I wonder how the other out-of-contract players would react - I could see Verts and Toby both being Mou-type players and maybe they'd stick around if they think there's a chance of winning something and playing under him. Kane will obviously love him and he's previously spoken of his admiration for Dier. Plenty of players could go either way (Dele, Sanchez, Winks) and there will undoubtedly be a few immediate castoffs (I'm looking at you Aurier).

And Jose ain't afraid to make early changes if it's warranted. That will be immensely refreshing!!!!

Can’t wait for our first away win courtesy of some classic mourinho shithousery. I just want to win stuff now, sick to death of seeing the other clubs hoover up everything all the time.

SPURS 'IN NEGOTIATIONS WITH JOSE'

Representatives of Tottenham and Jose Mourinho are this evening locked in negotiations for the Portuguese to replace Mauricio Pochettino.

We understand talks will continue into the night. Both sides believe a deal is close and will be concluded by the morning

I lost my admiration of JM after watching how boring ManU were. He’s been sacked after so many short spells. Not the right fit for us.
Maybe Benitez could work with Levy’s parameters. Or Rodgers has impressed with his stints at pool, celtic and leicester. Both would suit us more than JM.

How would we feel with Poch at ManU or arse?
Spot on. For me, Ancelotti, Benítez or Rodgers. Of those the latter 2 might be better on a budget (of sorts) and Rodgers would be the one who would suit our style and players and get the place buzzing

I am pretty sure everything is signed days ago.
New manager just does not want to start with half the squad while the rest is with their national team. and i think thats right.
