I agree that we should have or should be winnign something this season but that is looking unlikely - we basically have the CL or FA Cup...

However say Mourinho came, its either CL or FA Cup... if he does or doesnt we would still be needing to spend big bucks in the summer...

Is our squad good enough? Clearly it isnt and dont forget we had our three signings all either injured or not yet fully integrated etc. I personally think things will get better once we get through our CL group...
Mourinho would be trying to finish third in our CL group and going for Europy big time. I'm not joking.

agree with most of your post, Jose is the man we need and levy should act now, but Poch has been far more than a stop gap. Sure his tenure (if it does end) will be tarnished by the last 6 months domestic form - but he’s still been the best manager spurs have had in my lifetime and delivered some truly wonderful moments which It will take something truly incredible to be topped.
Yes, he got rid of the trouble makers and built a really good team. He struggles tactically and in the transfer market. Otherwise we would be a couple of trophies to the good and not where we are this season. I suspect with pots of money he will do well at wherever he goes. In the same vein I don't respect Guardiolas achievments as much as Klopp. Klopp has done it without the endless pots of money at two different clubs. When I say done it I mean winning the Bundesliga and the CL. Winning the PL against Citeh would be incredible.

I dislike Mourinho as a man and dislike a lot of what he stands for in terms of football.

But outside of that, I'm not sure he's the manager some people think he is.

At United he spent 360m on just 11 players and delivered very little in the way of success. Yes a Europa League and yes a League Cup but is that what we aspire to?

Mourinho publically slags off staff and players - it definitely cost him the job at Chelsea and didn't seem to do him any favours at United. Do we really want such a negative personality at our club? Not to mention his boring and cynical style of football to top it all off.

You’d hope he’s learnt from his mistakes right.

If we had to do a caretaker who would it be ? Maybe Hughton might end up in a Ole or Sherwood situation.

He certainly has something to prove. Comes across well. Never done a terrible job as far as I’m aware. Could work out.

Only Spurs fans could dismiss Jose as not good enough.
It's like some of you are actually scared of winning something.
Truly mind boggling stuff.
