I haven't followed anything about Juve or de Ligt but couldn't problems be linked to Chiellini getting injured?

He wasn't starting, Chiellini did his ACL which has forced him in, he made 2 mistakes vs Napoli, he's just been thrust in sooner than they hoped. I reckon in a few months he'll be fine.

Exactly the sort of game he’d have thrived in yesterday, with his pace. Plus he’d have given a fuck.

Sanchez must be sitting there thinking what the hell. Why am I not been given a chance ahead of Jan and Toby.

I don't know about that. The Juventus fan base hasn't been impressed with him so far, and he just had a terrible game for the Netherlands vs Northern Ireland the other night, responsible for their goal with two separate errors.

He sometimes gets too wrapped up in winning his battles and turning things into a fight but the talent is definitely there. If he's the future he needs to be starting regularly - still think he'll make mistakes but that's the price of not being ManU/City and buying the finished article.

I'm a big fan of him and was always defending him but he's not doing my job easier lately. He was poor today.

Only 23 years old, hopefully he’ll be a main stay in our defence and finally gets a Long run in the side
