Now the Premier League and their PR department look so stupid for issuing that statement so soon.
they wouldn’t want to let us down!

Haven't seen many details on the reasons why the card was rescinded, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did it based on Atkinson's actions (giving a yellow first, then a red based on crowd and player reactions) rather than the panel making a judgment call on the severity of the tackle. Still think it would have been a yellow if not for the injury though.
I agree, he won't tackle for a very long time. I am sure he won't play tomorrow too.It shouldnt have been anything more than a yellow but apparently the consequence of a tackle can also give rise to a red card - go figure.
To be honest he may not be in any state of mind to play furthermore he certainly wont be going into any tackle in the near future - my two cents worth.

How do we go about getting our 2 points back aswell
His red was overturned.
I’m guessing it’ll be something along the lines of...Has the judgement with reasoning been published anywhere?
Will be interesting to see if he traveled with the team to Belgrade. Either way I hope he's doing alright mentally. Even seeing something like that is traumatic, much less being involved in how it happened.
surprisingly wrong. The premier will not reverse the red card due the severity of the injury the part played by Son plus the referee decision.
