Communicating is a wonderful thing, sometimes we get it all wrong.
Absolutely. I just wish people could move away from this culture of always picking sides to absolutely everything.

We can defend or console Son without making a villain of the player he tackled.

By saying Gomes is a dirty player?

If you want to defend Son, then defend him. Don't make out someone who has just received a horrific injury is somehow to blame for a past tackle. That's disgusting.
Totally agree...

Unless of course we were talking about Wiltshire or Szczesny, then fuck em.

I care far more about Son and his mental well-being than Gomes. If one of our players showed Son that tackle and said don't let it weigh to heavily on you mate he's a far dirtier player than you'll ever be I wouldn’t be against it.

I must be weird of something because Im capable of both feeling for Son and Gomes at the same time.

Fuck me

Sigh
When this old world starts a getting me down
And people are just too much for me to face
I'll climb way up to the top of the stairs
And all my cares just drift right into space

On the roof, it's peaceful as can be
And there the world below don't bother me
No, no

So when I come home feeling tired and beat
I go up where the air is fresh and sweet
I get far away from the hustling crowd
And all that rat race noise down in the street

On the roof, that's the only place I know
Look at the city, baby
Where you just have to wish to make it so
Let's go up on the roof

And at night the stars, they put on a show for free
And darling, you can share it all with me
That's what I say, keep on telling you

Take that @JimmyG2

So painful watching Eriksen at the moment. His heart just doesn't look in it and just seems to be going through the motions. Doesn't sound as though anyone bid for him in the summer, but wish someone had and we could have just got shot and moved on ourselves. Thought Moura was awful to and he is no more than an impact sub imo. Capable of having a good game when he starts but I don't see him as being someone who you can rely on to string good games together.

That's exactly it. Football, a competitive game...and someone got injured with no ill intent.

He did have a decent game, and crossed pretty well. Monster was too much. I was upset at seeing a leg break and spoke emotionally. I still think that even if I’ve got it wrong here, he’s a player who endangers others regularly, today I incorrectly assumed it finally caught up with him, I was wrong, I still don’t want that type of player at Spurs anymore than I wanted Ben Thatcher or (when we were linked) John Hartson.
Kudos for being man enough to admit that you made a mistake. For what it's worth, I think you have a point about Aurier's play generally, although I would say that it's reckless rather than malicious.

I saw a bad break and got emotional and reacted, anybody who says they never react poorly to something awful is fibbing. When Eduardo had his v Birmingham I cried. More than happy to admit I shouldn’t have made a beeline for Aurier. And yes, I agree it’s reckless not malicious, but sadly that still isn’t great.

Blimey, that Eduardo break was a long time ago, I remember it well. Terrible injury

Lo Celso is never going to get anywhere without starting minutes. We're all quite sure that Eriksen is off, so why play him when everyone can see his head isn't in it. If poch had one iota of thought on the mid to long term future of the team then he wouldn't be playing him. Its infuriating and I'm getting to the point now where I don't think Poch is going to redeem this situation, too many poor decisions.

Seriously mate, take a deep breath, man up and admit you are wrong. Aurier did nothing, the leg was broken and Gomez on the floor before Aurier has even got close to him.
Sorry but Aurier’s tackle broke his leg. If you go to twitter you can still see pictures galore of his foot full on Gomes’ ankle, full weight. None was on purpose, it was bad luck, but I’m pretty sure it was the second tackle as he fell that broke things.

Pictures I’ve just seen on twitter suggest you may be right.
