Not motivated enough would be right. I really think they are not playing to the manager already. Good if we are scoring goals and ahead. Trailing behind, we can forget about equalising and/or taking the lead back.
That doesn't fit really.

Leading against Arsenal, Olympiakos, Bayern,

From Poch’s news conference. I might be wrong but I can’t recall any photos from the club of us training this week on social media. They usually do don’t they. Anyway:

Poch on his full week with the players at Hotspur Way
It was an important week to recover the feelings after a tough game against Liverpool. We know very well it is our responsibility to deliver a very good job and very good performance on Sunday against a very good team like Everton trying to win because it’s going to be the best medicine to fix all.

Sounds like the players are low on confidence. I actually think if we beat Everton on Sunday it could be the turn around we all want. It will end the horrendous run away from home for one, that’s a big relief and will give the players more belief.

Poch on Spurs' league position
We need to be positive, feel that positivity and make us believe that we can beat any team. At the moment we struggle with our confidence, we drop a lot. That’s only time. The most important thing is how we’re going to finish, it’s not this moment.

I like averaging a point a match, I think it’s good because we trashed city that one time and remember the 90s.
I enjoy a sour and rude manager in the press because I remember the 90s.
I think all we need are different fans because I remember the 90s.
I like weird team selections because I remember the 90s.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

If you can remember the 90s you weren't really there.

What’s pathetic is being on course to be upwards of 15 points behind top 4 by new year and not thinking the manager should go
Whats pathetic is discounting all the good work the man has done while people like yourself live on a weeks notice and behave the same way.
The man deserves some slack. Sorry if not you then others. Let the man turn it around. stop being self entitled mate.

Let's see who's gonna be the first to moan about the PC

  • Looks miserable
  • Short, snappy answers, rude demeanor
  • Doesn't look like he wants to be there
  • Some other irrelevant moan

I've been listening to the Poch audiobook because I hadn't read it and to see if there are clues to the current state. Not really, because its all about how great his philosophy is- I keep thinking 'so just do that again then'.

There's a bit where he's saying how Alex Ferguson told him he became more distance from the players training after some years, because he can have more influence meeting them in the office and watching from afar. So this sounds like the rumours this season. But then Fergie used to bring in new coaches (and players) to freshen it up, which is the difference here I guess.

I hope Poch finds a way to bring back the magic. I find it hard to believe he's holding out to be sacked based on the values coming through this book...

Stupid response. And I don't know what the fuck he's trying to say. It's exactly this moment that will affect our position end of the season. Can he for goodness sake look how far we have drifted away from the top end of the table!?

When I do have some tinge of sympathy back for him he will say something that irks the hell out. He seems to have feel no pressure at the current plight we are.

Come on Levy, pull the trigger after Sunday ffs, especially if we do not win.

Only 8 and a half minutes long. Obviously he has nothing to say.

The faux outrage is strong in this one 8/10 not bad.
