Liverpool have only finished above us 3 times out of the last 9 years! There is no way they should have leapfrogged us, but this is another argument. The players need to show some pride and get really stuck in.

Yeh , we expect a spanking , yes it was Red Star in a mess Tuesday , but there were parts of the match where the team were doing something I only ever see at our best moments .Hunting the ball in packs in the oppo half . Red Star's weakness wasn't the reason tho imo.

It just may be that something has changed ..mebbe the 'meal' ? and we are going to come out roaring . Kane had a bit of a Kaneish look to him too for the first time in a while .

Perhaps I imagined the hunting and Red Star were so bad , but perhaps a strong energy from us today is a possibility .
