Fair enough, like I say I'm uneducated in this matter so I'll concede to greater knowledge but I would argue just because something has been done for a while doesn't mean it always needs to be done. Probably countless examples of sporting practices which have changed to modernise.

It’s a bit of a contentious issue mate so you’re not alone for sure.

Great half overall. Particularly the defensive effort. Our attack has fizzled out after 15-20 mins though, Youngs has lost the plot and slowed to a snails pace and has started to kill all timing for the men waiting to receive the ball.

Worry would be that we've thrown the kitchen sink at them early on and can we take this effort deep into the final stretch, and two or three of them (Farrell most noticeably) are really hobbling about and look fucked.

I bloody hope so, but as you said, what an awesome half. Fair play to England, playing amazing.

I still believe! ?

Not enough points on the board from England considering their relative dominance.

Agree! Certainly need another try. First 40 best I’ve seen us play in years! But New Zealand certainly have couple of gears still to go through and will be different beast in 2nd half
