Tbh, the Liverpool game is a bit of a freebie as we're the underdogs and we're not exactly going for the title this year. That's not to say that the players shouldn't give 100% or that we shouldn't aspire to be better than Liverpool in the future.
But what does losing to Liverpool actually tell us that we didn't already know?
The games against Leicester, Brighton and Watford today are more important imo, because they're our 'bread and butter' where we should be getting maximum points everytime.
And we're not...that's more informative of our current situation.
Good post. For a couple of seasons at least we rarely if ever lost to a team outside the top half of the table. This season so far we have drawn away to City and Arsenal instead of as usual losing but have failed badly against lower level teams. Even against Bayern we played really well for the first half an hour. We need to get back to a place where we never look like losing to the majority of teams and then start thinking of the top two
