Bury have won away more recently than us, and they no longer exist.
Yes, it was sad that Bury FC was expelled from the Football League just five and a half weeks ago, on 27 August 2019. Spurs played on since then, excluding the international break that ran roughly from 1-14 September between which no Premier League matches were staged. How many games did Bury have to not-play this season and last season because of international breaks? Spurs played in none of those weeks.

If it’s the main players then we’ve a real problem.

Only a top draw replacement will suffice to keep players like Kane at the club. Any make do like Howe, Benitez etc will end in disaster.
I think Benitez would hold a lot of respect in many players, don’t think he’d be a disaster at all to be honest. Definitely in my top 3 with Allegri and Jose.

They aren't slagging Poch off, they are passing on what their players are saying is happening/being said. In my case anyway.

People have to remember this isn't something that's just happened it's been building and picking up pace for a long time.

The players are low on confidence and have a lack of belief in what they are being asked to do. This brings doubt on the pitch and it's impossible to play like a coherent team.

Balls. They showed incredible coherence and intensity for the first 1/2 of a CL game in front of a global audience in midweek. If what you say is accurate they are the problem - was it their feelings that prevented them from running more than Brighton? Seen more professionalism from a Sunday league team. Kane was jogging around like he was 40 years old - and I love the lad but 200K and the captain does that after Hugo came off....where was the pride in the shirt???

Interesting that only Sissoko has fronted up after that performance and said sorry to the fans.

Anyway, it's all in Levy's hands.

Problem is it's just poor performance after poor performance. It's not like we are playing well and just not getting the rub of the green. We look toothless on offense, have little to no control in midfield and short and open at the back. Constant goalkeeper mistakes dont help either.
The stats tell you the players arent running as far or pressing as hard as they were last season and even lower than the season before so definitely a case of the players not working as hard.
Being the man Levy is he will already be drawing up and sounding out a replacement. Whether he fires him I dont know but how long can we keep faith with a manager that has done wonder for the club, clearly has credit in the bank but has completely lost what worked so well in the beginning.

SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT ITS JUST TO SHOW MY ANSWER

Stop blaming Lloris injury on the players problems. Take responsibility for getting a bunch of things wrong like leaving Winks on his own against Bayern which was a disaster and not solving the right back problem. Not being able to create fluidity and then against Bayern throwing it all forward in the first half an hour without considering the consequences.
Not putting his foot down by putting his job on the line with Levy demanding what he needed to be successful. Talking us up and talking us down in reaction to the situations. Changing what he says on a week to week basis.

I don't think he blamed Hugo's injury on player problems. If he did, I haven't seen or heard it.

HE DIDNT BLAME THE INJURY ON PLAYERS PROBLEMS .
I WAS SAYING THAT HE WAS USING THE INJURY TO USE AS AN EXCUSE FIR THE PLAYERS NOT PLAYING WELL

In the previous game when Hugo made an absolute howler, Pochetting said" Don't blame him. Don't blame the players. Blame me. I tell them to play like that." He's said similar things before about other players and disappointing performances or results.

ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OUR PERFORMANCES IS MORE THAN TAKING AN INCIDENT AND CLAIMING THAT WAS DOWN TO HIM
IT WAS GETTING TACTICS WRONG MAKING WRONG SUBS
LEAVING WINKS AT DM ALONE,EXPECTING NDOMBELE TO COVER THE FIELD VRS BAYERN INSTEAD OF MAYBE USING TWO DEFENSIVE MIDS SAY DIER AND WINKS TO HOLD BAYERN WHILE NDOMBELE PUSHES FORWARD
OR FIGURING THE RB SITUATION EVEN ALLOWING LEVY TO SELL TRIPPIER OR USING KWP IN ANY CASE HE GOT THAT WRONG
THERE ARE MANY

Most of the rest is just things you and many of us wish he'd done differently, but nothing to do with his failing to take responsibility.

As for putting his foot down with Levy, not one of us has the first clue about what they say to each other. If you really mean he should threaten to leave when he doesn't get his way, I'd argue that whilst we may like to see it, it would be a good definition of failing to take responsibility for the job he's been given.

ITS TRUE WE DONT KNOW WHAT THEY TALK ABOUT AND THAT COMES DOWN TO POCH NOW
IF HE ACCEPTS THAT HE HAS DONE HIS BEST AND LEVY HAS DONE HIS BEST THEN ITS OBVIOUS THAT POCH IS MISSING SOMETHING IN GETTING HIS BEST PLAYERS TO DO BETTER THAN THEY HAVE
SO NO POINT IN BLAMING LLORIS'S INJURY US IT. WE ALL KNOW WHAT SHIT THEY HAVE PLAYED LIKE.SO IN THAT CASE ITS IT POCHS RESPONSIBILITY OR NOT?

Just hit the link

It will be interesting to see what our players say while away on international duty. Their lips are always looser when with their national teams. I can’t believe one of them won’t drop Poch in it if asked and they are unhappy.

Have to agree about Kane had to ask others watching in the pub was he actually playing.

I’m staggered by the people that back Poch over THFC.

He is here to do a job, and paid handsomely for the privilege - tactics, comments, mood, behaviour has been bizarre this last 9 months. Comments before the CL, constant whingeing - poor form by me.

We owe him nothing - IMO it won’t get better for him for the rest of his career.

Losing your keeper after a couple of minutes(albeit to a nasty looking injury) doesn't require a massive re-organisation of the team and tactics. So I think that is a crap but not unexpected excuse.
I think that the team should cough up for the travel costs and tickets for everyone who had to endure the total shitfest that was dished up yesterday, but instead they keep quiet and can't even have the bottle to admit that they were totally shite. They couldn't care less about the club or the supporters as long at they pocket their six-figure sum for turning up - sack Poch? I'd be sacking two or three of our so-called stars - if they don't want to be here and give 100% they might as well piss off now!

Peps Man City has lost away to Norwich and at home to Wolves is he losing the dressing room?

We shouldn't panic we all know what needs to be done. Poch needs a little time to get certain players OUT certain players fit and up to speed and certain arrivals to begin the new.

I still rate our squad btw

I don’t buy this total rebuild bullshit - not one bit
We have a good squad when all fit and focused but at the minute we have players that want out, certain players the club want to shift but for what ever reason take an age and some players past their sale by date ( who shouldn't be first choice).

Mentality is a massive thing in sport life etc

We are suffering from lack of investment in the squad. Poch has been given the task of getting the most out of what he had for several years. Investing in new players will take a few windows. Poch needs this season at least.

I can’t believe some of the names being suggested. They include some of the most anti football managers there are. Poch can turn things around but needs time. Sadly our much vaunted youth produces nothing but water carriers so we have to buy
