Oh it’ll be Howe alright. The only way it won’t be is if he turns us down. IMO of course
Much like Rodgers, he’s shown he can produce exciting, attacking football with lesser sides, it’s a matter of time until he ends up at a big club. He’s done no less with Bournemouth than Pochettino did with Southampton.

our defence would be sorted too. He takes no sh*t from players either. Eriksen Wouldn't be playing if he was here.
Also, one more point about his tactics, he very much likes having a larger CF alongside a quicker, more versatile WF/FW which would be perfect for us with Kane and Son.

Anyway, it's a complete hypothetical and I still think Poch should be given the chance to get his new players play for him. Ndombele and Celso fit and up to speed could massively change us.

Me feeling is that Poch works best with YOUNG players because they respect his authority so he can easily mold (manipulate) them, but now that he's managing a squad full of GROWN MEN, I don't think it's any coincidence he's having trouble "herding the cats." Maybe they've grown a little tired of his my-way-or-the-highway schtick and they're pushing back.

Please not Eddie Howe if Poch goes... seriously we need a winner!
THis is what this side badly needs, someone who can do the dirty stuff and get some trophies. 2 trophies in nearly 30 years is appalling for a club of this size
Have to say I dont think the players would be impressed with levy saying "ok we've got rid of poch who got you to the cl final but he's not been doing great, so here we have our new manager.......
Eddie Howe.............
You know him......
He was the manager of Bournemouth before we lured him here......
You've heard of him haven't you ?
You've heard of Bournemouth?............

Not sure why people are blaming a lack of transfers from past windows on the bullshit we are being served up. Every week it's a change of formation/system/tactics. Pnot to mention players playing out of position or out of form just because they are who they are.

Pochs biggest strength as a coach is his player motivation. I can tell you as fact a lot of the senior players are far from motivated and haven't been all season. They don't like the ever changing tactics and roles they are being asked to do. Every week at training it's like starting from scratch, with another bright spark tactical plan for the next opponents.

Why this has all of a sudden become a thing I have no idea, but pochs very clear plan and philosophy all the players believed in so abundantly is very much missing atm. His happy go lucky, cheeky chappy persona has been replaced by a moody, miserable, git!.

As I've said before if Zidane got the boot tomorrow I wouldn't be upset in the slightest if Madrid came in for him now.

Terrible for a top four side.

the only result in any way that was a shock, was our loss to Newcastle at home. if I offered you 9pts from Villa, Palace @ home and Man C, Arsenal, and Leicester away are you telling me you wouldn't of accepted it? unfortunately, we lost today away from home to a good team. shit results happen in football like Norwich beating Man C. let's see where we are by the halfway stage before panicking.

If Poch goes, my own worthless opinion is it would be Howe. Somebody Levy can still stubbornly run the transfer strategy the way he always has (grimace). It feels to me that Poch has conceded defeat to Levy, and is resigning himself to walking end of season.
So sad a club of our size has to have a chairman that can't see the bigger picture
To date is to do lol

Wasn’t that Bielsa’s approach? Regularly refreshing the squad with young players?

Alli is not mediocre or a luxury you really have a short memory. 1 Alli's been injured for a long time and is basically coming back for injury 2 last season he was played much deeper and not in his so called luxury role.

You are a hater quite obviously the guys not even in the squad yet you want to criticise him for Eriksen wanting to leave not signing the contract....WOW!!

Read again. I criticize poch.

I wouldn't want Mourinho anywhere near our club as the guy is a sociopath, but anyone complaining about his style of football clearly hasn't been watching the turgid shit we've been churning out for the past year or more. I reckon big Sam would make us easier on the eye at the moment.

I completely agree. It's impossible to judge who's to blame. Who's to say Levy was offering C rate players and Poch knew we would end up having to ship them out after two seasons. Andre Gomes for example. Or Levy actually offered quality and Poch wasn't interested. For what it's worth, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Dybala are exactly the type of players we should be after. But getting only two of those in two seasons is sooooo far from acceptable for a team trying to, or supposedly trying to, win something.
Yup and just our luck one is injured virtually straight away

I think howe is a good manager personally, look at Bournemouth before he came.

I think he’s a good manager but he’s not what we need imo. Would send the wrong message, especially to the fans who pay the highest prices in football. We are crying out for elite level winners, off and maybe one or two on the pitch. The type who simply will not tolerate the nonsense we’ve seen this season in giving up leads and crumbling like snowflakes. Fair enough, City is different but 2-0 up at Arsenal and Olympiacos, leading at Leicester. Win none of them and we’ve only played 4 away games so far!

Just once, have a proper crack at it. Allegri, Ancelotti and co won’t be approached because they’ll say ‘I want this player, that player and this player, it’s all agreed, they want to come, let me know when it’s done. I want to win the league’
They are the type of manager we should be aiming for 100%
