Shocking quotes in that Sun article by Pochettino what an earth is he on about. Making excuses when we’ve spent circa £160m this summer and tried to get Dybala he sounds absolutely pathetic. Really thought we’d turned the corner on Friday. But still trotting out the same old shit.

Really don't see a lot wrong with what he said personally.

@coys200 what exactly has upset you so much?

If he was comparing to City then maybe ok but still a really boring narrative. But to compare to Arsenal is just ridiculous excuse making.

He's comparing how much they've spent on their front 3 with us... what did he say that wasn't accurate?

When we’ve just moved into the best stadium in Europe spent circa £160m nearly got Dybala over the line, you really think he should be making out we are some minnow of English football ?

That's entirely your perception of his comments, not mine.

It’s a ridiculous comparison when we have Kane. We’ve spent in other areas. And he’s almost belittling Kane and Parrott.

He's fit but obviously not match fit to the point where he can play 90 mins.

Had the Copa America then he went on holiday and came back late which meant he was weeks behind the rest of the team.

And then there's getting him Poch fit which will take another few months, I reckon he won't be getting regular starts until November at least.

Seems to be fit enough to play for Argentina again in the international break though

We didn't spend 160m though. We spent about 115m and sold for 35m.

I couldn't care less what he says. It's what he influences to happen out on the pitch that matters. If he fails to improve the team's performances then that's what he should get stick for.

Will we buy Lo Celso ? And Arsenal net spend could end up about £30m if they shift mustafi. If you include Lo Celso as a buy which it effectively is we have highest net spend of the top 6. He can’t keep trotting out the woe is poor little Tottenham line.

Don't know. Apart from the loan fee none of us know what Levy has negotiated for future payments. As it stands we seem to have spent 16m on Lo Celso. That's one point of the deal I'm guessing, to push the bulk of the cost for next year?

Yeah Arsenal could still push the net spend down, but more importantly for them the wages.
