If he didn't start Eriksen because he wanted to prove a point then he has ended up with egg on his face again.

"You still don't want to be here. Okay you can sit on the bench for this game"

One hour later and 1-0 down

"Eriksen come on and save us"

Combining the unsettled squad stuff with Eriksen wanting to leave and Trippier saying things going on he didn’t want to be part of I’m starting to think the problem is the squad falling out with Poch tbh. Like they’ve lost faith in what he’s selling and he’s dug himself deeper and deeper with his mega ego monster public image and lies in interviews.
How can you say that you’re job title should just be coach not manager and then the team show absolutely no signs of anything being coached into them with our first whole squad pre season in years?

He is telling you himself. He has dropped enough hints post CL final.

That doesn't bode well. Wonder why he didn't just walk after the final. Levy delivered for him for the first time since he arrived, too. This is all very, very confusing.

He will say ‘he wanted them in earlier’ . But transfers don’t work like that. This is opinion, not ITK!

We should have seen this coming. We had a good pre-season with some impressive wins and results: it's like a guarantee of fucking up the start of the actual season proper. On the other side of the coin, Liverpool were losing to the Dog & Duck in pre-season, and now they're 3 for 3 and top of the league. Grimly predictable.

If that’s the case he should have gone at the end of last season. His constant negativity and abrasiveness is getting really old now.

Clearly Levy has backed him this summer, and he’s still not happy.

Thanks Hercules - Well i know he wants us to be more ambitious in the transfer market and get deals done early. We are lead to believe we actually got his 3 main targets this summer however is there more than that. Why are in this position with Toby, Verts & Eriksen?

Toby (likely to sign new deal-cross fingers). Verts coming back to fitness, as with him he peaks late fitness wise. CE-fak knows.

You think Poch has his heart on staying, has there been a fall out with Levy or players.

This does have a feel like it’s running it’s course and let’s be honest it’s not just these 3 games of this season the bad form and performances go way back into last season. 15 points from 15 games and last away win in the league was January i saw someone say earlier is a shambles. Something ain’t right and it needs sorting quickly, just hope we shape up next week or we could get slapped.

I am as pissed off as many, but I try very hard to evaluate reasons. Last season, we all agree it was due to no transfers mainly. This is a big year for Poch. He will not have the luxury of waiting until November for everything to gel. I think his selections, and passive wayvwe play, is way off what I expected this season. For example, you cannot play Winks, Sissoko as your two main defensive midfielders, with one to open up play. I can see why Lamela played. But with what I mentioned, then Son and Lucas, is total madness. But who could we have played? Sess? Dele? TN? Hence why I mentioned the points I did.

I think this is s very critical year for Poch.
Spot on.

Exactly , it’s like staying with your partner who is giving you more love and attention and buying you things and you just don’t love them, don’t take the fing piss just leave em.

Pre season is for fitness nothing else really.

After every defeat we get a thread like this, it's clockwork

Well, in the last 15 games we have taken 15 points. It's just not a temporary rough patch. This is starting to get serious. And there's no signs that things will get better anytime soon. We play like a mid table team as best.
