Thing is, I've never seen Poch as a particularly tactically superior coach - he's not a Pep in that sense.

His main attribute at all his clubs has been his ability to create a positive atmosphere where players will run (and press) through walls for him. That fighting mentality (and some luck with Kane coming good) is what's got us top 4 in the last few seasons.

However, he seems to have lost the ability to do this/isn't reflecting this at all in his press conferences or sideline behavior. Without the positivity, belief, passion etc he's just a decent coach with some learning to do.

It appears we've lost our identity and belief and, given that this is Pochettino's main selling point, I think it's very worrying indeed.

Pochs Lack of critical thinking 100%

I have absoultey loved football the last couple of years because Poch had built a united club, building something we all could be proud of again, especially with winning games in style. However for the last year i have felt a different tone from Poch. One that does not seem to be pulling with hierarchy of the club. I just dont understand what has gone wrong.

We expect more and he isnt producing it.He got lucky last season

Sorry but just no. We’ve been atrocious since Xmas. Blaming injuries? Aurier wanting out means we play like crap for 9 months? Poch never plays him anyway.

Alli has been out of from for a year. A huge part of our bad run has been with him in the side being a part of it. Now he’s missing it’s because he’s injured?!
You are picking out Alli, who played 80% of last season eithbpain killers, hardly any training, in s desperate attempt to help us. I mentioned this at the time. Also there are 9 other points (plus Dele) that I find ridiculous to ignore. That is not saying some of the blame does not lay at Poch's feet. We

I dont buy the verts fitness issue one bit. Just sounds like bollocks to me. Played fine in preseason. Sanchez has had 3 poor performances where for me dier or Tantanga should have come in for him already if verts wasnt fit. And verts shouldnt have been on the bench if it wasnt fabricated rubbish.

You don’t have to buy it. However, it is a fact! Like it or not.

All the stuff he is coming out with now about the squad being unsettled doesn’t do anyone any good, focus on ur own tactics & how to improve, we’ve played terrible in our first 3 games let’s be honest, form & performances are continuing on from the end of last season

It’s not just Alli though is it? A whole heap of players have been slowly getting worse and worse over the last 9 months. I know Alli has had injury problems, and im not ignoring the other points, but I don’t feel it’s a justification for the decline we are seeing. You rightly point out some of the blame lay at Poch’s feet, we just differ on how much I guess.

For me, it all boils down to the comment he made about leaving the club if he had won the CL final. I think leaving is on his mind. And that’s never good for a club.

Hercules - has Poch lost some love for the job. What has changed behind the scenes?

I love poch and don't want him to go, he's rebuilt this club from a shambles and a laughing stock under avb and Sherwood into a team no one wants to play, but it feels like he may have his head on other things and not just players it's painful to see

I am as pissed off as many, but I try very hard to evaluate reasons. Last season, we all agree it was due to no transfers mainly. This is a big year for Poch. He will not have the luxury of waiting until November for everything to gel. I think his selections, and passive way we play, is way off what I expected this season. For example, you cannot play Winks, Sissoko as your two main defensive midfielders, with one to open up play. I can see why Lamela played. But with what I mentioned, then Son and Lucas, is total madness. But who could we have played? Sess? Dele? TN? Hence why I mentioned the points I did.

I think this is s very critical year for Poch.

Let me try to put things if I can, with some perspective:

1. Dier-not up to speed after his operation, so on the bench.
2. Alli-Been our with a jammy, and now fit (almost).
3. Verts-apparently was well below par fitness wise.
4. Davis-Coming back from an operation.
5. Foyth-Out until September at the earliest.
6. Aurier-has his head on a transfer
7. TN-injures today
8. Sess-Out until September
9. Son-First game today
10. CE-Wants out, but may have to work out what he is going to do.

That is 10 reasons for abject performances, with no cohesion, harmony etc. Now Poch has to take blame as he is tge captain of the ship, so to speak. I think we need to hold out until the 10 things are resolved coherently, andcsee hiw we do before going ballistic. I fully respect the OP though.

Good news about Alli, what help with the lethargy but another creative and actually moves into space

TN a bad injury?

I agree after the international break things will be a bit less bitchy around the place

He is telling you himself. He has dropped enough hints post CL final.

If that’s were he is at, he needs to question for the club and his sake whether to remain. Can’t drag another season out with players clearly affected by his mood etc. Trippier alluded to issues when he left. Starting to become clear it was to do with management and players.

If this is the case fuck off out the club, if he doesn’t want to be here, we will be here long after he has gone, he seems to think he can act like a moody little prick in pressers, alienate big personalities on the squad when he has won fuck all!.... of he had pep’s cv, or dare I say Mourinho or wenger you could accept it a bit
