Good to see some Streets fans with the amount of pos ratings this got.

I have a few of their stuff on my phone so their songs come on on shuffle every so often. My littl’un is 10 and recently he was talking to an adult friend of the family who just split up with his missus and as he was telling us the story, my littl’un just said to him ‘don’t mug yourself mate, just don’t mug yourself’ and walked out the room. I was embarrassed yet proud.

Erm... let’s sign Lo Celso. ??

Met my missus at a Streets gig so.....we met through a shared view...she loved me and I did too:whistle:

Fully agree with that logic.. However there has to be a point where we say... Thank you but we moving on to another target. If GLC is the primary and only target when did he become that ? Was it in the last year to 8 months? If that is the case then how did we not discover him before he went to Betis. At some point you draw a line in the sand and move on.

Improving the team and 1st team options is far more important than haggling for 3 months on a price for a player.
I too agree with this. I would add that if GLC was a first choice and we wanted him that badly surely it would not be perceived as bad business to increase our offer? A reasonable increase, nothing silly. After all the value of GLC is subjective.

BBC report, we submitted first bid 60 m euro since June then on begin of July Spanish journal report we submitted second bid and JJ said it was not lie then Herc said we never changed our offered until now

Maybe the second bid around 65 m euro and finally Betis will be that make sense?
Fingers crossed ?

The Guardian has a list of the top signings in Europe this season were currently ninth with 55M for TND. But the ones that really stand out are the players moving from within England and from Europe to England

AWB 45M
Seb Haller 41M
Joelinton 40M
Youri Tielmans 40M
Ayoze Perez 30M
Raul Jimenez 30M
Saliba 27M
Mings 25M

Mings is the 25th most expensive player in Europe so far this season.

Luka Jovic went from Eintracht to RM for 57M and Haller is going to WHam for 40M
Joelinton just spent a season on loan playing in Austria hes gone for 40M to Newcastle.

GLC is worth 60M in this market 80M that would make him the fourth most expensive player in Europe so far.

I personally think Levy is right to dig in at the moment. Overpaying 20M now would be a very good young player 6-12 months down the line we could miss out on.

Fuck Ricky Sacks. Also Onda Cera is the same thing as '@ElTransistorOC' I believe - so both accounts are reporting the same thing (this will probably go over Ricky's head)

What drives the vitriol here? I don’t know the history.

Isn’t the guy just an aggregator? Anything out there re: spurs he’ll tweet about. Don’t think he’s making any claims about it’s veracity. It’s just something that’s being reported so he tweets it.

Saves me time vs looking at 25 different sites and you take it all with a grain of salt like every transfer rumor in the media anyway.

I don't want to detour the thread but really we should just write a "Ricky Sacks is legitimately terrible" thread and pin it. Most of what he posts he just copies from other aggregators and doesn't read the source. That's why he will often post the same story like above without realizing he's just sharing the same story 4/5 times citing different sources.

Isnt that exactly what aggregators do? Looks like he posted this one twice, not 4/5 times and he cited the source each time. Anyway, I couldn’t care less, I just find it curious people get so bent out of shape about it.

I think one issue is that he doesn't always give accurate information from the articles that he posts. Several of the tweets don't line up with the actual information in the article...but hey, I just ignore it and move on.

Agreed. He's transitioned from "I'm just an aggregator" to experimenting with creative writing in order to gain more tweets/retweets/likes.

Whilst some are getting worked about this deal, I'd like to turn focus back on to the player himself.

Here's his performance from against Milan last season.

What I like about him is his ability to play with his back to goal and not panic, he can find a pass out of the situation or is strong/agile enough to keep it.

Him and Ndombele should allow us to get back to the Dembele days of been bloody hard to get the ball off.

From an attacking perspective I can't wait to see him link up with Eriksen (Dybala if Eriksen goes), Son and Kane. I think they are going to enjoy it as he's quick at moving the ball along, he's good with the ball in tight spaces and you can see he's a good crosser of the ball too.

Can see Poch using him as the link between midfield and attack with Eriksen (if he stays) further forward.

My favorite part about him has to be his aggressiveness in the press. Presses like a god damn man possessed. Absolute animal. He would thrive in the Poch high press system. Get this one over the line ASAP.

If the guy* is such a poor source of info then I'm wondering.............

1: Why follow him
2: Why post his stuff here

*TBH it could be any of a massive amount of sources people universally agree are shite yet still get brought over

Haha. In any case, quoting a journalist saying we are back in negotiations, at least it's some news, which we've had fuck all of for a few days.

I’ve a strong feeling the papers have absolutely no idea what’s going on with this one and where it is. The Spanish press seem even more click baity than our lot.
