Saint Etienne president Roland Romeyer said: "He will stay at the club this season. It is an imperative condition should we come to an agreement for his transfer. It's also William's wish."
I reckon favourable financial terms can change that condition into an omissionSaint Etienne president Roland Romeyer said: "He will stay at the club this season. It is an imperative condition should we come to an agreement for his transfer. It's also William's wish."
...,,just sayin’What we need to do is wait for him to show up at the Emirates for talks and then get Arsenal to pay for a taxi for him to come across to our gaff to seal a deal. Petit payback.

By front loading fee (than that of what Arsenal doing) and giving him back for loan, we are literally helping St Etienne use that fee to buy another player or so for this season. No idea but there has to be favourable conditions for St Etienne I imagine.

Of course those reports may be untrue.
