Arsenal have taken the piss out of us for the best part of 20 years, from Judas to the FA being at cashburden during Lasagnegate. I think levy holds a grudge and now is repay time.

I wonder if the Arsenal jet, that their executives use, has WiFi on it? I love the thought of them flying off to the USA, all happy and cheerful. However, when they land, they take their phones off airplane mode and discovery the fiasco brewing because of our shithousery :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I think he’ll enjoy it but his head will always rule over any grudges. He’s not going to release funds for any other reason than business.

Saint Etienne president Roland Romeyer said: "He will stay at the club this season. It is an imperative condition should we come to an agreement for his transfer. It's also William's wish."
Interesting as if Toby goes to Roma I can't see us signing another CB on top of Saliba. It might mean the plan is to drop Dier back.

When was that from? I can imagine if we're offering over the asking price they might reconsider.

Guardian saying Arsenal still confident he will keep his word and sign for them....

But surely we wouldn’t go in for this at such a late stage unless the agent and player had indicated they’d prefer us...

Unless we are just trying to get arsenal to waste a bit more cash on him.

8 days ago I think.
Ultimately if we offered them enough (particularly up front) I'm sure it would be on our terms.

I'm not even convinced this is a goer, but it wouldn't make much sense for us to sign a CB for so much to loan back if we're cashing in on Toby.

Yeah as much as signing this guy from under Arsenal nose would be hilarious, once that all dies down, if Toby leaves we will still end up with a weaker defence than last season.

And our defending last season wasn’t exactly rock solid.

Here's a thought; I wonder if he's going to be our new right back?

In that video (above) he seems to be playing on the right in a few of those clips, including for France (presumably at U18 or U21 level).

He seems to be pretty quick and athletic.

Anyway, something to consider...

I pointed that out earlier in the thread but it didn’t get a response. Guess it’s cos nobody knows who he is (like me!)

If this is all true then I'd want him right away but to be honest if he is the future of our defence then loaning him back as an 18 year old is satisfactory, particularly if we slap a two year extension option at the end of his contract instead of the usual one year which I think is eminently fair.
