Watford game takes huge significance now - can't possibly afford to let this Cup form now permeate into the League campaign.

Another season without domestic silverware though is utterly disappointing though, let's not sugar coat it...

Deserved nothing giving away a pen and missing another. No midfield ability and trying to play with a big lump like Llorente up front when that is not how we play.

Still glad we are out now at least we will get some respite from two games every week

Whatever the result I'm still fucking proud of this team. What an effort we've seen this second half considering the circumstances, we really are on the cusp of something special.

People will say we are trophyless again but that's just because they're jealous of what we've achieved.

Waiting for Spurs to actually bring players of good enough caliber in, is like hoping for that top-notch bird you always liked to at least crack you a smile, but who will always be way above your punching weight and yet you always have hope...I miss those random days of signing Klinsmann & Vdv :(

Such arrogance from this club. Think we are billy big bollocks for this competition.
Don't think it was that at all. We are dangerously thin right now, and priorities had to be made.

All things considered - we could have won today with the squad. Poor pen conceded - poor pen taken. That is down to individual mistakes - not taking the cup too lightly.

That was absolutely dreadful. Foyth and Skipp the only redeeming features. We're running on absolute fumes. It'll be one of the biggest mistakes this club will make in recent years if we dont find and sign some reinforcements in the next week. Im not having theres nobody out there, absolute rubbish.
Skipp really sure he gave the ball away about 10 times in the 2nd half I know he is young but wasn't great today

All comes down to no signings in the Summer. Taking into account all of the conditions outside of the club (World Cup, Asian Cups, Injuries etc) it really was an unacceptable stance to take.

What is Poch supposed to do? If he puts out Sissoko, Winks, Eriksen, Lamela out to start they could get injured and atm Watford is more important. They're being run into the ground because of the injuries and the lack of investment. The only mistake he's made has been not having Eriksen as a bench option.

I have to say today I am starting to loose a tiny bit of faith in what Poch and Levy are doing. We need Top 4

Poch presser will be much of the same. Happy with current squad, proud of the players, thought they played well, we were unlucky, etc., etc., etc.
We aren't going to sign people for the sake of it. The academy will step up. It's hard to find anyone who will improve this trophy-laden team. January is always hard. But then again so is summer.

Hope this was some sort of statement from Pochettino to the board. We clearly need 2-3 players in. Looked really poor today.

If that's the way our manager communicates with our chairman, we are in big trouble.
