Has anyone actually established where this party is going to take place?
Asking for a friend.
I've mentioned in this thread that I don't sing the Sol Campbell songs, I hate him, but he's not relevant, so I won't be wasting my breath on him.
The post you've quoted was aimed at the sensitive fans who think we shouldn't sing the 'you're fucking shit' song at other teams and their fans.
The piss thing is just wrong, and I take offence at your assumption that I consider racism as banter...so maybe you should read the fucking thread before mounting your high horse next time.
When we are beating a top side or a local rival and sing the song it can be quite funny. Personally I find it loses any humour when we sing it in the FA Cup to a minnow or in the league against a team we are clearly wealthier and better than.
Well if that's how you feel then my post isn't aimed at you mate.I don't know why people equate this to sensitivity.

That's justmy view and have no problem if others sing it. Happy to discuss it on the forum but becomes difficult when people are only capable of believing someone disagreeing with something means they are sensitive or taking offence.
There are lots of things I disagree with, pretty rarely feel offended though.

Let's face it, in the grand scheme of things it's just a bit of harmless fun.
I disagree with your analysis professor.
Well there's been quite a few, this subject has come up before, so I'm not sure about the agreeing part.Good for you, the fact very few people have mentioned finding the songs offensive kind of agrees with me.

Just to be clear, you're sensitive to being called sensitive then ?
I recall a few posters that were quite angry about it, not offended, hence my sensitive comment.I've seen lots say they find it embarrassing when we sing it to the likes of Fulham. I don't recall anyone finding it offensive.
Pretty sure Arsenal fans are busy in their own ‘I have never been so embarrassed to be a Arsenal fan..’ thread.I bet Arsenal fans love it when they hear us singing this song. The fact that some are still so bent out of shape over it must be music to their ears. And let's not try and pretend that it was the manner of his departure that's behind all of this. He's hated because he was proved right. While we stumbled about the place doing nothing, he went to Arsenal and won every domestic trophy going. They were already better than us on the pitch. He made them more so. That's what really hurts and fans should at least be honest about it.
No, lets. Anyone can come out with stuff like that as if they have the inside track so lets not pretend it was anything other than him lying to the club and to the fans before joining our most bitter rivals. I think you'll find he was hated the moment he did it, not with hindsight. What rot.And let's not try and pretend that it was the manner of his departure that's behind all of this. .
