Surely it's worth paying more for a player now to help improve a position/area we're weak in to improve our chances of getting top 4, surely?

Ok see what you mean, hopefully that’s the case.
You really think that the club would go out of their way to release false information so as not to upset some sensitive posters on fan forums ?Spin...... like a humming top.
He'll know better than anyone how serious his injury is, and there's a very high chance this could be his last chance at a big contract. On the fence about the Barkley thing, might have been good for us might not.
On the latest itk, surely the idea is to pay him a signing on fee whether up front or spread or both.
But I'm struggling to accept that he would demand that his basic and bonuses would top HKs???
So not for me, and certainly not for me is the suggestion this is the first time Levy has opened his wallet only to be told to do one, but usually that happens at the end of a window when the "selling" Chairman is bludgeoned into making the wrong decision just to fack Levy over.
Coming back to Ross, Chelsea don't need him and he'll have splinters in his arse till they move him on for a profit.
Take it all with a pinch of salt, Mr Gb!You really think that the club would go out of their way to release false information so as not to upset some sensitive posters on fan forums ?
We definitely need to freshen things up with at least 1 new face. Someone who can offer something different. Yesterday’s game proves we need to go for a dynamic player who can stretch the game under bus parker’s. If we continue the current trend we could lose a fair amount of points to put us out of the top 4 race by March. Then what good would be to have these superstars waiting for summer who will probably back out of joining us. Rock and a hard place.
I always do buddy, I'm guessing if the ITK stated it was all Levy being tight you'd have taken that as gospel though?Take it all with a pinch of salt, Mr Gb!
Has there been any concrete info on whether the reported 200k a week for Kane has any truth in it?
Most definitely, mate! And I'm sure if the ITK stated it had nothing to do with Levy's tightfistedness, you'd do exactly the same, my friend! Always have huge respect for your opinions though GB, even though I often disagree with them. Happy New Year to you mate!I always do buddy, I'm guessing if the ITK stated it was all Levy being tight you'd have taken that as gospel though?

Did anyone seriously expect any different this window, we haven't signed anyone of note in January for years and we wont this month either....!
Levy was never going to back his manager on a player he could sign for free in 6 months, he clearly gambled and it backfired, I don't believe the Poch didn't want him, sorry not ITK bashing but Poch wanted him IMO.
Re this super signing in the summer, sorry bored of this now.... wasn't the same gonna happen in August transfer window? I assume we will be announcing the new season tickets/stadium costs soon for GA.
I truly do believe Levy has taken us as far as he can financially and he has done wonders but days of signing big players and pushing on when we desperately need reinforcement (now) will not happen under his stewardship.
I know a lot will disagree but this is my opinion and would be delighted to be wrong
