Oh this sort of post gets on my tits the most. Like Utd didn't lose against Huddersfield and Chelsea didn't lose to Palace. We have taken a step towards it but nights like what happened midweek and that game today suggest we are still some way from being the completed article, regardless of the fantastic results we have achieved under Poch so far.
Honest answer? Don't know. He's got pace, power, agility, and a venomous shot. I'd be interested to see what Poch could do with him.Is he really worth a lot more than some of our players who’ve proven more than he ever has? Even with taking into account wages adjustments for our own said players
This is so true, some fans expect us to win every single match and if we don't, then there must be something drastically wrong.Oh this sort of post gets on my tits the most. Like Utd didn't lose against Huddersfield and Chelsea didn't lose to Palace.
We lost to Utd and Chelsea in the Prem this season by a goal each, that's it. hardly results to hang our heads in shame. We have the best culture in the league. But we will lose games - everyone does. Well barring city that is. But we didn't put half a billion pounds in our current squad.

I think most of our key players will be getting pay hikes over the next 12-18 months. Don't you?
And anyway, isn't Sissoko getting 90k, and what has he ever done for anybody?
As I said, we apparently pay Sissoko £90k a week. I bet that goes down a storm in the dressing room. If Alderweireld and Alli are still on £50k-£60k a week when next summer's transfer window opens, we are going to have very twitchy bums, aren't we?Dunno who’s on what tbh but for example I doubt someone like alli earns more than £60k pw, now even with greater revenue it seems very unlevy like to bump a wage by 40%, would you pay Zaha more than an am who scored over 20 goals in a season at the age of 20, just doesn’t seem our style to me

Are you a bad comedian? He have not won anything either
Agree. It's why Poch's dismissal of the importance of the domestic cups (and The Europa League) is so frustrating and part of the problem. Teams that regularly win the big competitions started by winning the "lesser" compensations. Trophy winning is a habit just like match winning and you have to start somewhere. Winning 6 games and you win the League Cup or FA Cup whereas to win the league you have to be the best over 9 months and 38 games and to win the Champions league you have to come out on top over 6 league games, 3 2 legged rounds and a Final against the best in Europe. It's not rocket science to see where the best place to start winning trophies is.I think we are missing that final piece of the puzzle mentally. It might be an impossible job for him because historically (recently) we are a failure of a club. We simply don't have that winning aura and we just can't shake off this always lets you down sense despite us being a superb team these days. I hope he can instil this into the team/club but he himself hasn't won anything either as a manager.
I don't think him, the team or anyone in particular is to blame, the fact is Man Utd etc are one thing and we are another. Only way I can feasibly see it changing is by winning something, anything, other than that I don't know what can be done. It's pointing towards another year of nearly but nothing to show. 3 years in a row with no evidence of change.
2 wins in 26 games after todayIf I remember correctly we won there a few times quite recently...

Not really that simple though is it...you say win 6 games, it's six games on the spin, one loss and you're out, it's not the case with the league.Agree. Poch is prioritising the league and CL because he believes it's achievable, you may not, but he's in a much better place to judge imo.
