Good away point overall, clean sheet too. Lacked a bit in the final 3rd today and not enough chances created but still unbeaten and near the top of the table...........

We should try what Liverpool do and go on a 20 minute blitz at start of games. Get the lead and then we can rely on our ball possession game.

I thought Bournemouth played us perfectly and they should get the credit they're due for stopping us. We played some nice stuff at times and against most teams in the league we would have run away with it. Can't have too many complaints to be honest, at least we've not lost yet and are still at the right end of the table.

Why is it whenever people have a moan at a very lacklustre performance we get the old "self entitled supporters" line coming out? In what way when you consider that a victory would have taken us top of the league was it a decent performance? I cant think of a single decent save their joke of a keeper had to make.

Pochs subs were appalling and our big money signings from the summer are looking worse with every passing minute they are on the pitch. People are well entitled to point out that today we were fucking woeful.

And before the reply comes, yes I was around in the 90's but that doesn't mean that I now have to accept every shit performance that we serve up as its ok because it wasn't as bad as the 90's.

The whole clubs mentality has to change, until it does we wont be winning anything, anytime soon.

Indeed. May as well close forums if we can never ever mention anything bad. As a whole, Spurs haven't had it this good for years so by that token would be immune to criticism. Lots of threads of "by Jove we're not at all bad"

Let's face it,

Eriksen / Delle / Lamela

Martin Keown would have kept up with those three at full pace. Therein lies the problem, no pace worth a shit in the final third. Iv'e seen quicker funeral marches than what those three offered in attack today.

We weren't "fucking woeful". You show Bournemouth zero respect and demonstrate zero understanding of the game. The performance was decent enough but lacked cutting edge. Disappointing? Yes. Woeful? No.

Woeful was Newcastle last year. This was a decent performance with a disappointing and perhaps worrying result and trend.

Screaming that we are shit the managers shit the signings are shit for a side that has far and away the best defensive record in the league is quite simply entitled whiny bollocks. And you deserve to be told as much

This comment is a laughable

We go out looking to win every game, unfortunately sometimes the other team plays well, fair play to Bournemouth and West Brom they both had a game plan and stuck to it.

Even Messi would have struggle to score today

messi marked by gosling. Yeah I bet messi would be shaking like a leaf

Awful first half, second half we were much better. Lamela should have been subbed, Wrong subs with Son and Dele going off, they are our present top scorers. Another two points lost.

I'd play Lamela middle, Son left and then one from Alli, GKN, Eriksen, Sissoko right...... Lamela keeps the ball and actually improvises in the final third, Eriksen looks timid as fuck and does literally nothing killer in the final thrid these days.
Lamela gave away the ball nearly every time he got it in the first 30 minutes today. His first touch is desperate, has no strength to hold it in tight areas, has no pace to get away from a defender or scare them into retreating, doesn't pass the ball over 10 yards and has poor vision in giving it to people who are free out wide. The only good thing he does is play a one-two, and when he gets the ball back he's usually tacked because he takes forever to make his mind up.

Probably the best thing that could happen to us right now is to lose a game so that we can break free from the shackles of that "unbeaten" tag and go back to winning games.

He took an elbow to the head. The fact it was out of play makes it even worse as there was no reason or need for it. That was a clear as day red card with the standard 3 match ban and probably more tacked on.

But he wouldn't have got an elbow if he just did the right thing and ran back into position instead of mooching more time off the clock by picking up a ball which he knew was not his. The ball went off the pitch off your last touch, accept it and get back.

I'm sorry but it works both ways, if you want to cheat then you can't cry about your opponent stooping to even lower levels to counteract it.

The same Lamela who hit the bar and was closest out of all our players to scoring.

No strength? Are you kidding me, the amount of times, especially second half he held on to the ball under pressure was a big positive from his play today, compare that to Son, Alli and Eriksen.

Has no vision? He is one of, if not our most creative player in the final third.

His pace. How many times did Alli carry the ball, get caught by the defender and lose possession. Eriksen didn't beat anyone for pace today.

But yes you make some really valid points.
