Long way to go in the game but excellent first half from us. Best we have played this season so far. Let's hope we can keep it up for another 45 mins!

No. Don't want to chance our rhythm and mindset to 'negative'.

We carry on just the same for the fisrt 20mins and then assess energy levels.

Dier and GKN are natural subs for this though at some point.
I love Wanyama more than most on here, but just worried about Wanyama and the way he plays that he will be sent off.

His ball control doesn't seem very good to me though? I always thought he had a decent touch at Newcastle

Saved us out of trouble on couple of occasions with his good mvoement and ball control, he should try to do simpler stuff sometimes though.

Tyler is pissing me off, acting as if we are lucky to be winning and like we are some sort of bottom half side and this is a huge scalp, we beat City home and away last season and smashed them both times.

This isn't some sort of miracle, we are a good side and we deserve to be where we are, the commentary team along with Redknapp are basically willing that ball into the net for City.

I really feel like Skysports and all the twats really don't want us to win this league, we have to do it the hard way if we want to do it because I can guarantee you right now, they will be doing their best to make sure Liverpool or City are talked up as favourites.

Also on a side note, what an excellent first half, fantastic professional performance and I honestly believe we will do them for 4 today, that was my prediction before the game and I am sticking with it, 4-1.

Look to make the Victor for Dier sub around 60th min then Sissoko for Janssen when fatigue sets in. But all in all, what an incredible first half. Absolutely loving this forward line. If only Son wasn't offside ever 5 mins .

Brilliant ! Well done Spurs. So far MoPo is outwitting Pep. Hope we can keep up this fast rhythm. Victor has to keep his tackles in check but then so does Otamendi.

EXACTLY as i said pre match about the cbs having nobody to mark and not coping with midfield runners...EXACTLY

Great performance so far and showing pep that not every team is a rollover!!

Great energy but i am concerned for past the 70mins mark when subs are to be made. Bringibg nkoudo will be a good move late on though.

All in all i think 1-0 to us at half time would be like a par score whereas now we have a decent chance of holding out.

Next goal is vital.

All about Poch's game management now.

Most the players had a big game in mid week in Russia, they will get leggy. All depends how much he encourages that we keep pressing and when/if he freshens it up.

The song being sung near the start of the match to the tune of glad all over. Was that city fans singing we've got guardiola or spurs fans singing we've got wanyama?

Spurs absolutely brilliant in that first half.

So, naturally, I feel hardly anything but anxiety that it's all going to go tits-up.

Good half.

Wanyama immense, Sissoko very good.

Guardiola is gong to switch it up now,

Poch responds correctly we win.

Guardiola's fucked himself by playing the two Fernands. It was like us with both Dier and Wanyama. Too rigid. They seriously miss De Bruyne...and I love it.

We need to keep it up, but we will tire. N'Koudou will be a great one to bring on. Tire the fuck out of them.
