Wow colour me surprise!! Ben davies takes over danny rose starting spot..You know why chaps? Cause he's fucking shite.

What point are you actually trying to make? Your English and sentence construction is so poor it's impossible to tell?

If you are saying Ben Davies has taken Rose's place I'd say you are wrong. Davies is a decent player and did well in setting up Chadli's goal against Stoke. However, Rose showed against Everton he is the number one left back at the club both defensively and offensively.

If you are saying Rose is "fucking shite" you might needs your eyes cleaned of the shit that is currently stopping them working correctly.

Rose is first choice. Rose started last game vs Everton and played very well. He also played very well last season. As he did 2 years ago under Andre before he got hurt. Dont let what happened with him under Sherwood cloud your judgement, which it certainly seems you are doing. After 2 years at LB in our shirt, I can confidently say he has been pretty darn good more often than not.

As my adopted son, I'd just like to say, Rose is an excellent LB who gives 100% every game, it's great to have him back from injury.

I'll be very surprised if Rose is sold this summer, or ends up playing in the championship anytime soon.

Fancy a wager either way, gents? £10 to SC?

TT, we'll know by end of August next year.

SK, shall we say 3 years from now?

No sweat, I still think he'll be gone.:)

We could also do with selling Walker and using all the overpriced transfer fee for him to buy Clyne.

*not betting on that though!

Knock, knock, time's up Mr @thinktank

Looks like Danny boy is picking up where he left off after last season. Our first choice left back on merit. That's ten pounds in the SC pot, please :)

Can I get a @Stoof stamp on this here gentleman's wager?

*dusts hands* that's my bit done for SC and Danny in one fell swoop. Two birds etc. I love it when a plan comes together :D

Oh and Mr @Spurger King two years to go!

Do you genuinely think he's shit?

Disliking a player is one thing, and Rose does come across as a little puffy-chested fucktard, but there's no way in hell you can claim he's crap. Next to Kane he was our most consistent player last season and had plenty of great games. He's had one game this season against Everton since returning from injury and has immediately shown how much better than Davies he is. I don't dislike Davies either, but I find him to be pretty average.

Rose has got flaws, sure, but over the last 12 months his flaws haven't held him back much. He's been solid defensively, providing that much needed aggression by getting stuck in and not shying away from a tackle, and he gets forward really well. Just what you want from a full back. To be honest, Shaw and Gibbs aren't playing as well as Rose is and it's just plain silly that he's not made the England squad.

Would you Rose-lovers stop throwing that at anyone who questions his ability? "Prove it to me", "Show me the evidence", "You're making this up" - no! YOU show us that he's demonstrated the adoration you're pouring on him. I have been infinitely patient, and i'm sure he bought himself plenty more time with that cracker against the Woolwich with a lot of fans, but HE has given you the facts, with his dire performances and attitude towards contributing to the team on the pitch. Put everything off the pitch aside, his displays have been consistently average even on his best day, dreadful on his worst and to argue anything to the contrary is like arguing that black is white.

Being offered a five year deal, again, reflects on his ability in no way whatsoever - i would suggest that he is being kept on simply as convenient cover for Davies, in case of injury or whatever, and no-one in their right mind is going to sign a one or two year deal at his age, so offer him a five year deal which gives him some degree of security and it gives the club leverage when better options become available in six/twelve months and a Stoke or Sunderland come in for him. If he sees out this contract and leaves the club as a free agent in five years time i will eat Rocky Dennis' decomposing cock.

lol

If he's doing it for the club, I'm happy with him. Like all the players I criticise - if they turn it around and perform then I'm all for them.

We will still upgrade on him though unless he can improve his balls into the box. But by the way he's improved other parts of his game I now have less doubts that he can do that.
