On twitter so many rangers fans raving about him, see it repeated a few times that he's too good for the league and is just going to get kicked two shades of sh*t out off.. worrying.
I think the fact that he is already being targetted is actually a good thing. It will test his temperament, his bravery and also how well he deals with close attention from markers.
Secondly his profile has already been raised so expectation levels are even higher than when he first joined.
Thirdly, if he can add goals as well then he is going to come back full of confidence and self belief, which can only be good for next season.
Good to see Dominic Ball getting his debut, although I think he will have to get used to being in Oduwa's shadow this season.
They'll probably be on the bench but Rangers game v hibs at Ibrox on Sunday is a sell out. Great experience if they can get on the pitch.
Why bench? They both started the last match. Oduwa in particular seems like a fan favourite so if imagine their fans will want him on the pitch
Oduwa getting a wee bit of stick, here's my two bobs...
He's got a lot more gears to get through, he's playing at half his potential, he draws players away from the rest of the team leaving space.
He will get lots of players booked/sent off.
He does try to be a bit Hollywood all the time but we've been crying out for entertainment for fucking how many years?
Give him another few weeks and he will be fully up to speed but having a flair player like him is fantastic and he has developed an understanding with Zelelam immediately which is brilliant as they're probably our 2 most gifted players.
Looks to be enjoying his football...
Does seem like a nice kid, always got a smile on his face.
For him to develop at Spurs he'll need to be given playing time...but that won't happen if many fans get their wishes: i.e. have Spurs stock up with (expensive) attackers (i.e. buying even more attackers). Don't get me wrong, I am not against Spurs buying another qualilty striker but I won't mind either if Spurs enter the season with the strikers already at the club. Players like Owuda need to be given time at Spurs to develop - including regular minutes.
