Because, I'd like to think that either -

a) we allowed him to go as we don't think he will cut the mustard, so I'll back coaches that see him everyday if they were okay with him going, or...

b) he was signed without us wanting him to go, but it was a case of he wanted to leave.. when we've got a brand spanking new huge stadium coming soon at the time he would be pushing through, he has a manager and coaches who believe in and develop talent, has fans who like and rate him highly coming through, is doing well at his level in the club and he has one of the best youth / training facilities in the world to develop in.. then put bluntly, fuck him. :whistle:

Of course not. Poch wants to play a specific way and needs specific players to do so; he's giving everyone who's here a chance but they will be moved aside/on in time if he can't see them working in his system properly.

Lamela being a prime example.

We're massively missing a striker who can play up top alone in the higher age brackets I would have thought. Agree we are stacked elsewhere though

Maybe we should try for that Striker who plays for Villareal...His stats (taking out last 2 seasons) are fantastic. Soldado or something his name is!

He was voted player of the tournament few weeks ago so I thought I'd ask about him, response was "yeh he's ok". Make of that what you will but I doubt we lost the next Ronaldo as some seem to think.
