Re:Trix latest

How comes whenever a players agent talks to the press, they are a ****.And it's 'typical agent bullshit'.But when agents tell Trix info on his fishing boat it's seen as great info?

Because one is a conversation between friends, not really intended for public consumption and the other is intended to create waves in the media

Last ITK is interesting. Surely we can't mess up the stadium design. We've had years to get it right.

It is understandable to change architects to save some money in a project of this scope but it is very concerning that the one person who has seen the new design is "worried".

We have one chance to get this right. We have had years to get input and information from other new stadiums and use their best practices/features to incorporate it into our own new home.

How could we mess it up with a "worrying" design this late in the process?

The new ITK doesn't add up

Why would Daniel have to do a 'bad deal' with Archway when we have a CPO and hold all the aces

Hopefully things will start to move next week...absolutely amazing how we are two days very close to seal a deal and then....nothing happens for weeks...

Attention all Walmart shoppers, there is a special going on for Tottenham cast-offs.

It's not unrealistic to think we need to sell about 4-5 more players. We've heard nothing on BAE, there's been very little in regards to any midfielder being sold and apparently this false dawn of Lennon being a well rounded player suddenly means he's going to stick around (honestly not sure exactly how I feel about that, I've been wanting him sold all summer).

Daws put in more blocks and clearances, made no more errors, and was far, far better in the air. Sorry, a CB who wins fewer than half his aerial contests doesn't cut it for me, no matter how neat he is on the deck. I grew increasingly less enchanted with Vlad as the season went on, even if he was an upgrade on Caulker.
A CB that is slow, clumsy and limited in possession in an expansive system doesn't cut it for me

Lennon's done enough to deserve a chance. I'm not too fussed what happens with him either way. Surely Dawson will go and you'd think Fryers will get the chop as well with Davies and Dier in. I don't think we'll find a club for BAE and one of our midfielders will go if MS comes in.

If we sign Mateo regardless then I don't think Daws or BAE will make the 25. Depends on the number of U21s I guess.

dawson's fine if you're planning on defending on the edge of your own box all game. he'll head, clear and block everything but playing that way puts you on the back foot, he also can't play out from the back to save his life. poch wants us on the front foot, that means a higher line, that means dawson = screwed. vlad losing a header when your line is 35-40 yards away from your goal isn't a massive deal.

Everyone keeps saying Poch wants us playing a high line, but in the friendlies so far we haven't been playing a high line, personally I'm not a fan of the high line, particularly in the PL but regardless so far both AVB and Sherwood were playing a much higher defensive line than Poch has shown, come to think about it I can't recall seeing Soton play a particularly high line last season

Unfortunately, Edmonton didn't see fit to elaborate on what this person said to him, and it's just one person. It's pretty vague stuff.

To be fair, we didn't really hear a lot about us pursuing Vorm and Dier until it was all over the press.

BAE's apparently training on his own, there's one player without a squad number. Are Paulinho and Dembele even alive? I guess 1 or both will be let go subject to the whole MS fiasco getting sorted one way or another.

I too wanted Lennon and Rose gone this summer but they've both shown a much improved attitude and level of performance in the preseason games that I've seen.

If I had to have a wild stab at it I'd guess at the number of corporate boxes has ballooned.

Or maybe we're going to build a stadium 3 times bigger than we need with a running track around it.... nopes thats the pikeys

Design is subjective, some people consider 30 St Mary Axe an abomination and were worried by the design while others think it's one of the best skyscrapers in the world and a triumph of design.
