The way we're going we could consider buying Upton Park. It's about all we need for the amateurish club we appear to be.
WTF?
Explain. What, exactly, is it that you're sulking about?

He's fed up mate, just like the rest of us.
The problem is with the sacking of AVB we need to focus on the first team and even more so now that Arsenal are nearly debt free thus enabling to use all of their huge matchday revenues (which has increased by roughly 250% since 2006) and the announcement of their kit deal with Puma worth £30m a year (three times what we get from UA)
This year we have to finish top four, for me that is first foremost the most important thing.
What I meant was fed up with the new stadium. Really has dragged on and does feel at times as if it'll never end
Remember late 2009 when it was announced 56,000 was what we would go ahead with as well as a single tier 'kop stand' and that construction was planned to start in 2012? Well, it's now 2014 with all soughts of rumours having been said about a interior/complete design change, obvious inability of attaining the right sponsorship and the bouts of no news or even rumours. things do change and projects on this scale do get very complicated, also I guess there is fears that we could end up like Arsenal did with the debt as well as any possible response from our competitors once it's completed i.e. expand their stadium further or find another revenue that keeps the financial gap as is.
I don't exactly see a huge entitlement from the past few years and you're right about atmosphere, when I went to see us play Villa at home back in 2010/11 season I was horrified, it was like a grave yard. I'm happy to sit tight and I'm not going to just whinge and moan, I was there when we drew 4-4 with Leicester back in the 2003/04 so I feel more gratitude from the past few years than entitlement.
Still, good point well made jambreck.
Unfortunately, the building sits on land we need, so if the building had a little accident, we would still not be able to touch the land,My first visit to the lane in a little while today, and the first thing I was struck by was the vast empty spaces surrounding that stupid little building in Paxton Road we've just got the nod for the CPO over. What a farce. The sooner we get the wrecking ball into that decrepit looking eyesore, the better. I mean, what's the worst that could happen if we just went ahead and demolished it immediately and said 'Whoops. Sorry...'
Unfortunately, the building sits on land we need, so if the building had a little accident, we would still not be able to touch the land,
That we don't own that land.Sorry mate, I may be a little thick this morning, but you'll need to explain that. We've already flattened the entire area surrounding that last remaining building, so are you saying that land was not ours to flatten? You say the building sits on land we need, yeeeess...but what exactly differentiates the land that building is on (and for which we have just been awarded the green light to apply the long awaited CPO) from the huge area of land we've already flattened?

The fact that Archway still own it—and it's Haringey, not Spurs, who have been awarded the CPO (and Archway may still appeal it).
Yes of course it's Haringey who've been awarded the CPO, my mistake. I was under the impression from previous information I'd read elsewhere, that once the CPO was awarded, it was pretty much a done deal and that any appeal would have virtually no chance of being won against it. Let's not forget, it took years to get that fat fuck Pickles to finally agree to award the thing, so any delaying tactic (for that's all that appealing it would be) would hurt us significantly, and unjustify
ingly. I don't know how often CPO's are overturned on appeal, I'm no expert on these matters and maybe you can tell us otherwise, but I reckon successful appeals are as common as dung from a door.
