Tottenham Hotspur have submitted new plans to Haringey Council for a huge four-star hotel to be built alongside their stadium.

Back in 2016 Spurs had plans for a hotel, alongside other buildings, to be built at the south end of the new stadium approved to be built at a later date. In June this year, the club signalled notice to Haringey Council that they would be amending the look and height of the hotel in a new application and those full plans have now been submitted.

I think it's great news for the club.

Would assume another revenue stream for the club / team?

Ideal for the overseas or long distance UK supporter coming in for a game , no worries about having to get a tube or train to the stadium or parking your car, I think the hotel underground parking has already been done..
After the game no trek to Seven Sisters or queueing at WHL Stn just straight to your room where I would think there will be a complimentary feed of Spursplay to enjoy.

I just can't see past this on match nights/ weekends.
Corporate rooms with VIP tickets.
Sponsors will lap them up and more for the rich leaving the rest of us even less tickets.
Maybe good for revenues~ just not sure it's positive for the rest of us.
(Good for the area~ just not one I'd want to visit if I stay in London)
Neg rep away

This is where Levy needs to operate. Leave the football to the football experts and stay in your lane!!!

It'd be awesome if they built it and then offered some kind of deal that includes an overnight stay and matchday tickets! I can't get anywhere near tickets and I suspect that, even if I did, I'd be looking at a £500 day out if I did!

I had no idea Levy was this much of a fan of the Blade series of films. Guessing it’s gonna be vampire themed or something?

Pretty sure I've seen other clubs do hospitality packages like that, so I expect they will. Won't be cheap though!

Think I would still want to be more central London, bit more to do there!

It's a good idea but need the rest of the area done up also.

I know some supporters just travel for the the game without making a short break of it, so for those who may only want to stay the one night it's ideal, I'm sure someone will be offering a flight, hotel & ticket deal, Spurs must have researched the market to make sure a hotel next to the stadium is viable.

He’s honestly not much more of an expert in real estate than he is in football transfers. He’s got an over the top rep for that.

Re the viability of this hotel , pricing is obviously a big thing but I have seen fans who have been to a match on the 34 bus after a game going back their hotel the Holiday Inn Express at the Billet Roundabout, so it seems there wiil be a market for the hotel.

I’d love this if it was affordable. Stay over Friday night, wake up at 1pm Saturday afternoon, watch pornhub on 5G because it’ll be banned on wifi then walk 30 seconds to the stadium to watch Spurs ruin your day. Mainly because it’s a 4pm kick off on Sunday and you forgot.
