Roma don't seem to be doing so bad without Lamela and Osvaldo huh.

Amazing come back from Fiorentina, 0 - 2 down at half time and now 4 - 2 up.

Rossi hat trick, great to see him playing again.

Really pissed off with this result, we just switched off. Really frustrating by the lack of changes early on by Conte. Fed up with this season already, Juve looking unconvincing. Well done to Rossi though, world class player.

This has put me in a really poor mood for this Villa game. Not feeling up for it now. :(

I see the main point should be, 3 goals in 5 minutes against Juve. When did that last happen?

Rossi was a massive gamble for Fiorentina after his injuries but it looks like it might pay off. Pleased for him, it can't be easy having that long out and would have been a real shame for him if he never recovered. Fantastic player and seems like a nice chap too.

Biggest game of the season, Juve now 3-0 up and Roma were reduced to 9 men within about a minute of each-other! One for De Rossi going 2-footed and studs up and the other for handling a goal bound shot.

Ooop, Ljajic just got booked too and misses the next match. Looks like this one game is going to derail Roma's title challenge completely.

Absolutely delighted with the Juve result. Totti was getting his excuses in early during the week in the build up to the game by saying that Juve would only win with the help of the referee. Turned out that Roma did the ref's job for him by the stupid acts from De Rossi and Castan. We were 2-0 up by that point and controlling the game already, so we had them beat, but nonetheless they didn't help themselves.

It's the first loss of the season for Roma and I think that's why they got themselves riled up so much, they just weren't used to being in that position and it all imploded. Juve have now overtaken Roma's record of unbeaten games in a row that they set at the beginning of the season. 10 games unbeaten, and counting. Forza Juve!

@sweyid - I know you're a Viola fan. A damn shame about Rossi, he was having such a marvellous season. A great player and I truly hope he hasn't done those cruciates in again. It was a really bad challenge from behind, thought it deserved a red.

Despite the rivalries our clubs have had in the past I have always really liked Fiorentina and I'm glad to see you doing so well this year. I really hope you get a Champions League spot.

Downward spiral for them?

Hope so. We're 8 points ahead now and if Napoli win their game in hand they'll be 2 points behind Roma, so they may start panicking. De Rossi will probably get a 3 match ban for his horror tackle and Ljajic got a yellow so misses the next game, and they're important players for them, so it'll go some way to hindering them.

What's your opinion on Roma as a club. I mean, listen, I don't really watch Serie A, but if I ever do then I always self-consciously seem to cheer for Roma or Fiorentina, but I had a chat with an Italian mate a month or so ago, and he was saying that Roma's fans are renowned as the worst fans in the league. Not in terms of vocal support, but in terms of aggressiveness and hostility, and he basically said never ever go to a Roma game. He said he went once in the Roma end, just to see one of their games, and he still got pushed around big time by other Roma fans

They've got a pretty shit reputation, along with the Lazio fans who are just horrendous. I once went to a Juve/Roma friendly being played in Cesena, which is a neutral city in the East nowhere near Turin or Rome. It was a pre-season friendly and whilst queueing up for tickets the Roma ultras swarmed the streets throwing bricks and bottles around, and tore up the place. The ticket office shut up shop and we legged it (I was with my family and there were plenty of kids around) whilst they continued to smash up the place with whatever they could get their hands on. The police were nowhere to be seen, I don't think they expected it to kick off at a "friendly", or they just couldn't give a shit knowing the Italian police! Never got to see the game and decided that I'd never go watch a Juve game unless it was at the Juventus Stadium, which I'm yet to go to.

Don't get me wrong there is a big problem around the whole of Italy, particularly for racism, and Juve aren't an exception. Recently Juve had an entire section of the crowd banned for being racist against Napoli fans. Juve's response was to open that section for kids and gave away free tickets, which was quite cool. Nonetheless, it was stupid of the fans in the first place. I don't think there is a single club that doesn't have a section of brainless, racist ultras.

Disappointing news about Rossi, was it a bad tackle? I haven't seen it anywhere.

Fiorentina have confirmed Rossi hasn't done his cruciate again, he's strained a different ligament in his knee though.

Great post-match quotes from Conte, he's got a great level of hunger for success still even after 2 seasons of it. It'll be interesting to see if he does move outside of Italy after his stint at Juve comes to an end, although I'd bank on him wanting to at least get to a CL final before considering his job done.
