Capello, current Russia manager, is wearing an Umbro jacket with the three lions on it in the image supposedly taken at the game. Could well be doctored.

holy shite........that's all I have to say. Where to from here????

If our history over the last decades continues as it has, it will be another manager, backroom staff, players etc and at the first sign of trouble ( give it a year) and the boo boys will start over again with the cry "SACK THE MANAGER" we never learn.

Daniel Levy is a "JOKE" I am not a Avb fan boy but the way he has let us down in the transfer window, selling our best players and replacing them with mediocre ones at the last moment and then getting them all in one go this year when it should have been done gradually over the last few Windows. His hiring and firing policy will never make us a top club

They're not mediocre.

Aren't you the poster that has been complaining about dour football?

Capello has a proven track record but he is George Graham incarnate.

Sorry but thats bull.

Milan, Roma, Real Madrid, and Russia all have played some scintilating football under Capello.

Hes a top manager. I honesttly think his time with a poor England team are clouding peoples jusgment.

Yes he ensures his teams are defensively sound. DOnt all top manager do that? He steadied the ship at Madrid because they were leaking goals and the crowd got on his back a bit but then they started winning and playing some great football and he turned the fans round and won the league.

Christ we have scored what 6 goals from open play this season? Thats poor. Capello will get us going.

Capello would be a great appointment.

Goddamn Andre.

I really wanted you to do well, and I'm sure somewhere else you will. It just wasn't working. Fuck.

What the fuck do we do now?

Really thought he would be the one to begin a legacy.

Gutted. I would've stuck with him until the end of the season, we're hardly in trouble in the league.

Levy is far too trigger-happy.

And we have the temerity to have a variety of "let's all laugh at..." threads on here.

I'd say we've been the biggest joke in the history of the Premier League.

Nothing wrong with laughing at other teams when they have hilarious moments of misfortune (Like the Liverpool beach ball fiasco), as long as we're willing to take it ourselves when we deserve it. Some of us like our football served with a steaming hot portion of laughter.

Avb had time, but I like many others saw no improvement in his tenure.
Really? Oh how we laughed after Chelsea changed manager after manager after manager. We a re no different.

You would actually stick with a manager who embarrasses the club. No manager in the league would have lost 5-0 at home to pool with the players we have.
Avb's tenure left me despondent, and it's my firm belief that he would never have turned it around. He strikes me as the uncompromising type who needs perfect conditions to get any sort of success.
Very few managers get exactly what they want so they have to adapt. We as a club gave him alot but he couldn't do it.
He had to go.

I'm gutted to be honest.. can't be arsed to emotionally invest in yet another manager.. feeling very disillusioned with Spurs these days.
I've been disillusioned with international football for years, don't watch any England games now but Spurs were the only thing keeping me going. Really wanted AVB to be the one to take us forward. Massively disappointed

So now AVB's got Das Boot, who's the next khazi cleaner (caretaker) manager going to be?

Get Capello? Get Pleat? Get Carter???

Diamond Lights? Robin Hood?

If we get Pleat he'll end up calling Lamela 'Lady Emily' and Eriksen 'Eleanor Rigby' or something.

Don Fabio would be OK until the summer...that's all it will be.

Started supporting in 1991 and I think we've probably changed manager every couple of years since then. Nothing great about it, but nothing new either.
