i just didnt see this coming
we're doomed.
we're doomed.
Yup, I think he'd be a more than adequate stop gap till the end of the season....and who knows, he might exceed expectations.as a temporary manager
Newcastle? And we have the temerity to have a variety of "let's all laugh at..." threads on here.
I'd say we've been the biggest joke in the history of the Premier League.
And fans questioning him (and the decision) by Feb is my prediction.
I dont understand why anyone would be unhappy with Capello.
He is a proven winner. Has won league titles everywhere he has been with a sprinkling of European cups to add into the mix.
He is a great manager and a legend in the game.
Are you basing it on what he done with England? you cant polish a turd. England currrently do not have the personell. He done the best he could with a poor bunch of players.
I would be very happy with him in charge. With Baldini as DOF and then throw in a spurs man as his assistant, maybe keep Freund or maybe someone like Ginola (who is doing his coaching badges) then it could be a winning formular.
I am all for it.
@GNev2: So AVB gone now! Had to incorporate 7 new players which takes TIME/ TIME/ TIME! Rubbish! Let him finish his work!!
I'd like to see Hoddle given another chance. Shoot me down.
People comparing AVB to Ramos.. FFS we were in danger of relegation back then!
before shitting on the Capello idea look at his club record as a manager the guys a winner
isnt he retired? So a year younger than Hynckes but, unlike Capello, Hynckes isn't currently employed by a mega rich & (probably) crooked as fuck, Russian FA.
The more I think about it the more gutted I am.. one step closer to that happy, beautiful day when someone asks me who I support and I can say: "Sorry, I don't follow football."
