Ramos claimed to have been told that the deal was done prior to Wednesday afternoon, but Madrid were threatening to pull out the day before according to Stellar? Believable that we would agree a deal with Willian lined up on the Wednesday when Baldini went to Madrid, but then lose Willian, find ourselves with a spare 30 million, Madrid threatening to sell Di Maria and Benzema to the Goons and decide to slow it all down over the weekend, possibly till the end of the window but at least until Lamela was done?

Going to be September 2nd, IMO.

Well, today was a fucking anticlimax.

Can't wait for the window to close, hopefully with us deciding to keep Bale.

Perhaps after the Willian fiasco some of the leaks have been filled, didn't one ITK say how angry the club was? Wasn't sure if this was in reference to leaks or the Willian deal in general.

To be fair, if it helps us conclude the deals all the better. Would rather we get the deals done than the rush of the ITK - but I know what you mean - would prefer both! :D

Yeah I think so. Everyone working for the club probably wants everything quiet so they don't waste their hard work again.

I doubt leaks or medicals or anything else had anything to do with it, when the agent doing the deal is a business partner of the owner of the club who bought him.

Just looking up Lamela online to find out more about him and found the following facts;

1. Lamela almost quit football at 15 to concentrate on being the drummer in a death metal band called La Satanista. They were signed to a far right record label 'Def Raspberry'.

2. Lamela was offered the role of Emmanuel in the upcoming Emmanuel XI but turned it down stating 'I'm a man, I can't possibly play that role'.

7. For all his riches, he is just a mere alkali. He isn't of course, that's just an anagram. He does however like to visit Lake Malira frequently and he is a meal liker. He doesn't and he isn't, they too are anagrams.

8. Lamela is currently serving life for rape.

9. Lamela spells it 'there' instead of 'their' and that irritates his teammates despite none of them knowing English, including Lamela.

10. Lamela is good friends with Paul Weller, Ross Geller, Kasey Keller and Teller from Penn & Teller. They're all nice fellas. Apart from Teller, he suffers with Rubella. Ella. Ella. Eh eh eh.


Like the sound of him. Hope we sign him.

I don't for a minute believe whatever happened with Willian can be attributed to leaks. It was planned larcency orchestrated by the Ruskie, Mourinho and that fuck Kia. There is no such thing as secrecy anymore in the transfer market as agents will go touting their chattles playing one club against another. Yes footballers without brains are nothing more than chattles to agents.

Well this is the most boring yet most exciting last week of the transfer window ever....is that possible.

Being serious, I am getting slightly concerned that we are not adressing the creative problem and we are just waiting for Lamela and Chiriches and not doing anything else. And IMO we still need to get a better LB and another striker + there has not been much news of outgoings.

Maybe it is just because the club is on lockdown and they are adressing the aforementioned problems but no one can get info (including the media) as we are not willing for "Williangate" to happen again. Well, I bloody well hope that this is the case.

I am both very excited and very worried.

When JJ goes it'll be more like a main character leaving Eastenders. Maybe he'll fall off WHL roof being chased by Daniel Levy, or perhaps Harry Redkbapp will run him over in his Range Rover and bury his body under the pitch. Some such rubbish id imagine.
