One thing's for sure, AVB must be pulling out all the absolute stops to persuade him. If I was AVB, I'd be pointing to Juan Mata, the third best player in the Premiership last season who is now second choice or past Mourinho signings like Kezman, Tiago, Wright Phillips, Bosingwa (and a whole host of others who escape my mind) who were bought for big money and were quickly dropped without a way back in after a bad spell of games or often just because of too many players for positions.

That has to play on his mind, if he's desperate to play at the World Cup. He won't get another chance to play at a World Cup...maybe that's why he is still mulling over it. Keep talking to him AVB.

Strange no ITK's have mentioned more about Lamela. Reports are his agent and father are in London to finalise the deal. Surely would of heard something if true

I don't know why people were laughing. It was clear that something was up, particularly after swiftly retracted the 'Willian has agreed a 5 year contract with spurs' story a few minutes after posting it.

On lock down I should imagine. DL might just start tying concrete blocks to peoples' feet and dropping them into the Thames otherwise. In fact, that should be our policy as a club going forward. The level of detail early on the window was sketchier. Seems to gone from that to leaky and full on torrent with Willian.

In fact, thinking about it, it wasn't so much ITK-specific was it? Things like twitter and the media seemed to be all over the finer details of what was happening and when. The presence of a certain bug-eyed twat "football agent" no doubt played a role in that.

Don't care we lost Willian I just hope we carry on in the same vein (quality signings). One of our super signings was bound to be hijacked by other clubs with more cash, especially as they see us making big moves.
