Mata would be awesome. He'd surely have lots of options if he was leaving though.

I know it's not popular on here, but AVB's looked at Hulk before. I wouldn't be surprised to see his name pop up again... IF Willian falls through.

The natural reaction after being fucked over like this is definitely to fuck someone else over. Especially Madrid. Now they are a bunch of ****s.

Alas, I fear the Bale transfer is too big and too far down the line to stop.
So is/was Willian's.

But then Lamela is Bale's replacement, Willian was the coup de grace!

Hulk for mega money gets a huge thumbs down from me.

I going to go with the view I posted in the Willthread that Chelsea are using tactics to unsettle Rooney so he will put in a transfer request it was clear to everyone he doesn't enjoy playing for united when he didn't celebrate with van p are setting up the goal . Stay positive

It's not deadline day, so if there was just a problem (and it hasn't gone tits up because of Chelsea) then makes sense to call it a night and then resume tomorrow.

In a way, I'd still be happy with Lamela and Eriksen. Maybe the extra cash could go towards the LB area.

Mata, Hazard, Moses, De Bruyne, Oscar, Schurrle, Lampard, Van Ginkel and then Marin and Kakuta away on loan...AND THEN Willian... I just keep going through their list of attacking options in Midfield and just dont get their interest...
Designed to flush out Rooney if Rooney is flushable.

If Ben Arfa didn't have such a dodgy injury record, he's someone I would consider.

Need to aim higher though.

All ifs and buts though lol

We will gave a plan b. This window has been flawless so far. This is a big hiccup but we have proved ourselves so far. I have no doubt we are already working on the next deal.

They would be mad to let Mata go, he is a assist machine. One of the few Chelsea payers with class as well, the rest are just ****s. I would love him here but that would never happen. If he does go to Utd he would just feed RVP and Utd would be favourites again for the title.

with this deal falling to bits could it mean Gareth Bale is reborn to play or Spurs?

You wish! He will be packing his spanish phrase book as we type. He's an ex player (I nearly wrote 'parrot' )

Did AVB sign Mata at Chelsea? Not that I think for a second we have a chance of getting him not can I believe Jose will sell him!

Another left footer though, I think it has to be Lamela (to play on the right cutting in) and then someone who can be creative from the left hand side cutting inside. Not too many out there off the top of my head in the class of what we are seemingly going for though.
