PLEASE don't do anymore... there are literally 100's of players with release clauses and really it'll just become a dull as ditchwater guessing game, then someone will come in and start saying "where's the itk on X" "can someone tell me which page the X itk is on" "I'm really busy, are we getting X?"

Then BC will come in and say; "did you see how crap Lennon was last year? X would be great in the far left inside right centre forward off centre playmaking winger blah blah blah" etc

and our brains will all melt.

He isn't Technical Coordinator and hasn't been since the beginning of the 2012-13 season. He is Head of Football Development. If you look in the Official Handbook for 2012-13 it defines his role, which I copied for everyone here earlier in the day, but is essentially development of players that need developing: youths and young pros, and arranging loans for these players. If his role is any more senior than that, then, as I asked earlier, why is it secret?

Rebrab, earlier in the thread, confirmed what a few of us had assumed that if we make late moves with Bale money it would be for players with release clauses so we can skip the month-long haggling session.

If/When Bale goes then you may as well add him to the list because it is a legal requirement in Spain for a player to have a contract release clause

Cheers fellas, looked in the RO and saw nothing. Then I saw A&C's post about info about release clauses being provided later & how it'll go into the football chat part of the site, so assumed that it was obviously not up for discussion in the ITK section. Was just baffled as to how there were loads of posts about listing players with release clauses that we hadn't been linked to, let alone had ITK on.

Was it SS57 or Joey55 who was always adamant that Capoue was the real star when he came on the scene with Sissokko? Either way I respect both of them equally and thus based on nothing but their positive outlook some 4 years ago, would welcome him with open arms (y)

But actually having actually seen him play, I would also welcome his with open arms.

Release clauses are all well and good when you agree to pay up front but we know Daniel Levy will want to structure the deal in numerous instalments.

Sorry I didn't have my hitchhikers guide to spurs handy today.

Who says its a secret, AVB has confirmed previously he likes doing his role and that only, if sherwood is an advisor to Levy or whatever then so be it. Just because he has more say on certain things doesn't really mean he is more senior, he just has more of a say in CERTAIN things than AVB. We have been on the up since last year, so something is working somewhere.
The handbook isn't going to mention everything about all their roles as I imagine they all have quite a bit to do.

8:30am - arrives at training ground. Locks car, walks through doors clocks in and says morning to John the security man.
8:40am - just getting settled in now, logging on to my computer, sees funny email doing the rounds about Levy. Calls through to his pa and asks for a coffee.
8:45am - needs a wee
8:50am - sends email to AVB reminding him who is boss around here
9:00am - rocks out onto training pitch, finds a ball and does some keepy uppys, yay 56, a new personal best! Shouts "did you see that boys?" Realises there is no one else around so hangs his head and goes back to his office.
9:20am - calls his pa again and asks her to pop down to the corner shop to get his copy of Shoot and some panini stickers...

Etc....

Lets leave Sherwood alone until LLM explains more later on eh?
