Isn't that article from last night? A deal wasn't done last night as we already know so nothing new really.

Think there are twitter reports that his agent has said Baldini has returned to London with no deal.

The agent has apparently confirmed it's not done. Unless they are making up conversations, we now either have to make up a new proposal or move on. So fucking dumb.

No, it says we came close to an agreement last night, then changed our offer, and the meeting today was cancelled and Baldini sent back to London.

Yeh couldn't they have got completely the wrong end of the stick. Maybe Baldini is going back to London because everything is sorted. Do people expect him to leave with Soldado in his suitcase?

I'll hold 2.7 grams of hope but that's it. Expecting the inevitable crushing blow soon enough.

Exactly - not much more that Baldini can do now is there. He's flirted with the agent and Soldado and got their agreement. The money mean, their board will close it out now.
