To be fair I really think that we need to give AVB,Baldini and Levy a little bit of a chance. We haven't even got to July yet and we are all going absolutely bananas because Villa have bought a few very average players? The ITK is pointing to some good deals for people. If we managed to get Paulinho, Villa and Keep Bale and AVB I for one would be over the moon!! And By all accounts it lookis that way.

Would much rather the above than have bout 4 very average players and spent 15 mill. Remember Bale is looking to see us improve. This means we have to be clever with our signings and buy quality. Unfortunately that normally takes a while. 7

Are you saying four players for 15 million or one player cos 15 million for a player is us maxed out highly unlikely we would go over that to be honest.
But that's the fun of the fair following our club it's what we do.

Many thanks, TBH have been looking at which site to join for about 6 months. Think it must have been all the talk of A&C and his weapons that has kept me from joining in so far....... must be getting brave. He's not so bad is he????

Im generally hinting that I want us to ensure that when (see me being positive again) we buy someone I would rather we spend wisely and on people that Bale, Verts and Loris are going to look at as investment and upgrade to the overall talent pool of the squad. For years we have bought bit part players almost for the sake of buying and because they were available. If it takes another month but we bring in quality I will be happy. If its the 31st August and we are buying used cars then not only will I be bald but rather annoyed at a certain trio of management.

Generic WTF should we do post coming up (hey it's quiet):

There was some info earlier in the window that suggested we wanted 2 experienced players and 4 young uns, and somebody else alluded to us wanting 3 players.
In truth, I think 2/3 players is about how short we are of being a genuine top side, so a couple of choice upgrades (Paulinho/Villa) could make the world of difference. We're not gonna sign 6 players and change the entire team; there's no need, particularly in defence. I think the general consensus is we'll go 4-3-3 next year and to my mind there's vacancies in our first 11 on the right of midfield (allowing for Lennon being more of a winger & maybe upgradable) and on whichever flank of a front 3 that Bale isn't on (ie. Bale plays wide right of a 3, Villa comes in on the other side). I'm happy to play Ade if that 3rd member of a front 3 is purchased, but obviously wouldn't turn down another striker or have Villa through the middle & sign a Bernard to play left forward.

So there we are: shift a load of dead wood; sign a quality midfielder & 1 or 2 forwards. It's not ridiculous to presume & shouldn't kill us on prices, just as long as we don't miss and those we've targeted come.
We are targeting the right players & hopefully Baldini can be the guy that makes them happen.
