When Liverpool fans say this their called deluded. Ferguson runs the lot. They'll be nothing when he leaves. Everyone in English football from the press to the FA is terrified of him and getting in his bad books.
I wasn't aware of the Pool fans' views on this. Honestly, if that A. Ferguson is the A. Ferguson then any conspiracy theories that have been floating around the intawebz are propably underdone.

That is fucking disgraceful.

Always thought it was just the Yanited Mafia. Never realised old baconface himself was so influential, apart from having the press on a leash of course.

So, I guess we've basically told Standard to sign him, he's a good player and we'll have a pre-contract with them including the fee we'll pay them for him in the future. That sounds really dodgy to me all things being equal but all things don't apparently seem equal so excellent work by DL and the boys. DL really is "different" after all.

Really hope the Mouts thing is true or close to being done. We'd be good to go then and anything on top will be pure gravy.

Sounding ominous for VDV now:(

Truly a bummer.

For me, VdV has some strange charm about him. It's hard to put to words, but VdV when I think of him only elicits positive feelings. He's such a fantastic player, and if he could stay healthy, his valuation would be at least double what it is now. Such a top-class talent.

Please Santa, i've been SUCH a good girl this year!:D

Did AVB mention Moutinho in his presser earlier?!
I think Santa deals primarily with the January window - and, as for the "good girl" comment, your avatar would suggest otherwise!

So he's the miserly bastard responsible for Nelsen and Saha?!

And as for my avatar, I was a nun before the start of the transfer window, look what it's driven me to!;)

rather liverpool than arsenal

Yeah, Liverpool will more likely ruin him as a player, thus negating our woes at him rejecting us.
I'll never never work out what they did to Keano in six months?!
I'd hate for him to do well at the Arse!

More quotes from AVB here:

Tottenham Hotspur FC @_THFC_
TELEGRAPH: Rafael van der Vaart given no assurances by boss Andre Villas-Boas over his Tottenham future j.mp/Q5P5BO#COYS #THFC

Interesting quote here: This is football. If I let Rafa go it’s because I’ve allowed him to go. It’s not because someone is forcing me to.”

Also interesting on Moutinho

“It is straightforward to everyone the quality of the player but it is extremely difficult,” said Villas-Boas. “The player has overtaken the price that Tottenham can achieve.”

Jesus, this is gathering such pace now I'm resigned to him leaving - which is massively deflating.

Yay, someone on here has seen the film! (It's a still from 'Bladerunner'

I thought that was a fairly well known image from Blade Runner (not sure she's a psycho though).

Pitty the source for the Moutinho news isn't more reliable. Bloodzeed's a poster on here I think, so maybe he could clarify whether or not it was just designed to wind up the bin dippers?

Its starting to all take shape anyway.

Modric and VDV the big money sales...to bring in the big money buys in Damiao and Moutinho, and to a lesser extent Wiillian.
