I can't see any world where we get Callejon. From the few matches I've seen of RM, he's been one of their first-choice subs multiple times.

Thanks for the link. I know there is an age difference and to some extent a difference in playing style and position on the pitch.. But if 9.5 million is accurate then surely we won't be buying Willian at anything more?

So, I guess we've basically told Standard to sign him, he's a good player and we'll have a pre-contract with them including the fee we'll pay them for him in the future. That sounds really dodgy to me all things being equal but all things don't apparently seem equal so excellent work by DL and the boys. DL really is "different" after all.

Really hope the Mouts thing is true or close to being done. We'd be good to go then and anything on top will be pure gravy.

Do you not remember when Fergie told Heinze he could have a free transfer to a club he'd get games? His agent and him thrashed out a deal with us, got everything agreed, only for Fergie to kick off when he found out about it as he didn't want him to go to Liverpool, so he complained to the FA and took us to court and stopped the transfer from happening. He's so used to getting his own way, always. Look at all the other Managers who suck up to him and people in the media, its sickening. He has far too much, say, power and influence in English football and something should be done about it.

Didn't buy Gareth Barry before Keane. Rafa made it abundantly clear to Rick Parry, that without Barry, Keane was useless to him. You know what happens next.

There certainly aren't too many players that we could get would make up for it, and any way, we need more creative players not just swapping a great one for another even if we could.
