Ade and Leandro + LLoris will be enough for me. And it is looking likelier by the day Modric is staying. Add Verts and Siggy, and we have the best window since god knows when.

I think everyone would be pretty happy with that. Everyone except Modric.

Would not be to unhappy with that. Still do not think Rose will ever be good enough for a first team place with us, but who knows, if there is an option to buy. Would be even better

Harry may have had his oddities, but he's always been a bloody good judge of a player, and if he thought Rose had a future at LB his opinion's not to be dismissed by any of us. I've got to admit, after his showings at the tail-end of last season I was all, 'Rose as Spurs LB? Stroll on, John!' along with everyone else, but he's just 22, got pitched in as a Benny sub when the season had gone tits-up, so being able to look back in a Zen-calm mood I'll say, 'OK, I don't think he'll cut it for us either, but I won't write him off.' Remember, a little less than six years ago a 22-years-old Benny was looking a total disaster area.

So I'll say, at the moment I'm a little dubious as to his future with us, but I'll take a rain-check until he's played a season at LB for the Wiggies (assuming this is true). If he shines with them, Spurs will take a rain-check.

I want to believe akqa...

But how many times has he said Duty Free was done? Leandro? Adebayor?

I personally don't think Lloris is a priority, would be a good signing but do we really need to spend 12m on a keeper? When Cesar is available for less? And we still have 1 first team striker?

Are we still using the lodge i thought we'd moved into the new training ground.shouldn't ade be there.

There were lots of seagulls there this morning, at least as far as you could see from Myddelton House. I checked the trees for BEN, but no sign.

It's been indicated that we seem to have a pretty decent transfer kitty for this window so I doubt signing a keeper would affect it that much. And let's face it, it wouldn't b a case of just adding 12m to our striker budget because the very best strikers won't want to come.

Cesar may be available for less, but he would surely demand more in wages than Lloris. Lloris is also younger and therefore has a better resale value.
