The Sig news tonight shows we were jumping the gun big time in terms of him coming to spurs so I think we might be jumping the gun a bit expecting AVB this weekend
More chance of Murray winning Wimbledon.

I think it is safe to say that there are going to be long meetings at Spurs which involve the key people in these deals - if someone is genuinely "in the know" then I would also assume that they would be in the meeting. I hope that all the ITK that we have been lapping up is leading to the result we are anticipating tomorrow but also understand that the closeness of the deal(s) would probably preclude ITK coming out (as you'd have to be pretty dumb to be the one in a meeting who pops out for a minute and that minute coincides with the secrets from the meeting appearing on t'internet!

His father said in an interview tonight that Gylfi hasn't decided who he will play for yet
That conflicts with ITK that suggested he will be announced Monday

At the moment there seems to be a lot of smoke about:
Manager: AVB is the stick on favourite but there are rumours about Pep, Blanc, Deschamps, etc
Players: Vertonghen, Siggurdsson, Moutinho, Falcao, Ade, Oscar, Leandro, Lloris, Remi...
Big announcement: stadium, buyout/takeover, kit, sponsorship...
That's a shitload of stuff - pick any two from each of the lists (one in the case of the manager!) and it's still more than we have done at the START of a transfer window for a very long time (if ever)... Just got to wait until tomorrow (or Monday) ... I'm like a kid at Christmas

I think both JJ and POTL implied we were discussing contracts with Siggurglesconn, rather than saying anything was agreed.

I love ITK, it makes my transfer window, but I do wonder how much is spin from the club or the bookies. Funny how they collectively disappear en mass for two days......(in no way knocking them though, just an observation)

It also fits really well with the ITK I have just made up saying that Levy has gagged all involved - but then that wouldn't surprise me. If he is really about to do a fucktastic "TaDaaaah" moment and reveal a manager, several players, sponsor, kit, stadium and the reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe blowing him while he does it, he'd hardly want one of the key players in the whole show's dad to cock up part of the surprise, would he?
