I think its near impossible to know if VdV willl stay or go currently until we know who the next manager is

Personally I expect him to stay, he's arguably our best player and its hard to see why a manager would not want him. That being said he will surely raise similar problems he always has for us in terms of finding a way play him that keeps us balanced and gets the best out of both him and the team.

I don't believe the rumours that he wants to leave because of the lack of CL football but he may well be somewhat disgruntled that Harry has been let go (I don't know the ins and outs of their working relationship or how big a factor it was for his enjoyment working for us)
Hmm. And would be interesting to know to what extent - if any - he is a pain in the arse in the dressing room (or maybe that's just a Holland team thing). He does make things happen and personally I think we'd miss him more than Modric. His goal was excellent yesterday I thought...

Or you could say that the rumours started at the end of the season, and have stopped since Redknapp got sacked. He's smart enough to know that the executioner never wears the crown, but may have had some input into the sacking.

I'd take Obika over Defoe and Lancaster as a lone forward. And they are the only 3 we have on our books!
That is surerly a joke obika is no where near as good as Defoe he plays 2 leagues below Defoe and has a poor goal scoring record

Or we could be copying the Spanish team tactic of playing without a forward - helps if we have a lot of midfield players :D

Do you really support Spurs Dan or are you a secret A*senal fan??
You just seem to have a massive downer on the club as a whole and on the majority of players too!

I think Lancaster has all the qualities to be a great lone striker.. He needs to be playing in the 1st team to improve, but i'm certain he will. Watching Lewandowski (sp?) of Poland, I thought thats exactly the types of centre-forward that Lancaster could, and should be aiming, to become.

Betting marketshave collapsed on Blanc off the back of that SSN report. AVB had been really strong today but now it looks like either/or

This is great. Announcing the current French national coach as our new manager in the midst of a major tournament. What could go wrong?

Something definitely kicking off, A number of bookies have stopped taking bets including Betfair
?

Betfair market fine!
Just cos it disappears from oddschecker doesn't mean it's down. The Betfair market wil remain open until something is official.

AVB still favourite
