I understand that Steed Malbranque has retired from football to support his son - diagnosed with cancer. Very best wished to all.

Best wishes to Steed. Part of the team that pushed us from mid table mediocrity to top 5. Unfairly treated by Juande after winning the Carling Cup.

All the best to him and his son.

Yeah I saw that... Would appear that the real reason is only starting to filter out. Paul Smith is generally very reliable.

you know, he was better than Modric.

honestly, though, one of my favorite Spurs of recent years. always got on with his job with no fuss, and did it well.

Horrible. As gary lineker says that saying about football being more important than life or death really is nonsense. Good luck Steed I hope the club does something for him.
