Plus, I don't always get much time on so can't always get involved in conversations.

All exlusive to SC of course but I think Adie's comment was more aimed at the spying type of shady lurker that our friendly neighbourhood SCers.

He's right, Fabiano really has lost his pace and unfortunately that was a big weapon for him.

The stats say that Forlan isn't have as good a season, but if you watch both your eyes will tell you that Fabs is a far more terminal issue than Forlans, who is just in a rut. Over the past 7 years one has had 6 very good seasons, one has had 2. I know which one I'd want.

Again as in the summer Gazzetta dello Sport horoscope has accurately predicted who we are linked with for the day. In the summer the very freakily pictured a player 4 days in a row who we were subsequently linked with. Today on the horoscope they feature Luis Fabiano. Coincidence?

Any one of these strikers will give as a much better chance of coming in the top four again and that is thr only priority this year, so even if a striker can't play in the CL this season we need one to ensure we are back there next season and can continue making forward strides (not one step back in the hope of 2 step forward)

I personally will be delighted to bring any of those 4 strikers listed, we need something and each has the potential to 'save' our season.

so let me get this straight, he's lost his pace but he's still scoring at the same rate

that would suggest that pace wasn't a big weapon for him or you 2 are just full of it

Please note I have a five year plan whereby I slowly build up my friendship with him at the gym until he invites me over for dinner and introduces me to his family, then introduces me to Clive at a Christmas gathering, then Clive introduces me to Harry then Harry introduces me to Levy. At which point he offers me a role on the board and as a consequence I become SC's professional ITK.

Unfortunately for you, Paul is currently looking at new gyms in the area to get away from the freaky guy who keeps interupting his workouts with talk of foreign strikers...

PS. Does he have a little dirt stain on the chest of his shirt when working out? I only ask because if you ever look at a picture of Allen during a match, he always had this weird little stain on his shirt. I assumed that he was a dribbler.
