Phil Neville and Scott Parker would be good additions to the squad. Neither are going to take us up a level though. But hell, as long as we get a quality striker we'll be fine.

I personally like Parker as a player...

again though more pressing matters are on my mind.

I said yesterday that some Scott Parker ITK will pop up soon enough, was bound to with the Keane rumours. Neville and Parker just such medicore footballers yet football fans lap them up because they have the English GRIT, PASSION and DESIRE to WIN

Parker would be a great signing for a couple of seasons.

Forget his English for a second he is a good Midfielder.

He`s head and shoulders above at West Ham, but thats because they are so shit...IMO he does`t improve on what we already have in midfield...

I've never been convinced by Parker so I am not exactly celebrating.....and what is our gameplan? To sign every midfielder on the planet?

Can you imagine the reaction in here if we ended up with Parker, Phil N and no striker!!!

However being a positive person I don't think that will happen I have a good feeling we will bring in a striker, hoping for any of those 4 the Ade has said.

Thanks for the info mate:up:

I hadn't realised English wasn't his first language.

Still, it doesn't seem to have affected his performances for Wham, and was possibly a great advantage at Newcastle.

To be honest, West Ham would just demand as much for him as Madrid would demand for Diarra. Depends who wants to go at the end of the day.

I'd imagine benzane is 1st choice striker and the other 3 have been told that we are awaiting the selling of pav etc. So there might be some last minute discounts there.
I also think benzami came to see what we are about and might have been warned by real Madrid that the decision might go to the wire, so better that he can make up his mind quickly in that case.

Way this window is going we will sign Emile Heskey, or is he too young ?

So basically, it is the usual "lots of irons in fire; down to the wire; depends on movements and deals" cliche.

Can anyone tell me where this Parker info has come from (other than the depths of Satan's pit of disappointment)?
