I'm not BAE's biggest fan but he is growing on me. He was awesome against Man U which resulted in Nani not getting a sniff and subbed after an hour.

First of all, Bale developing has nothing to do with anything as I'm pretty sure all he's going to develop into now is an incredible left winger.

Second of all, who ate these better left backs you think are out there? Apart from A.Hole their certainly isn't one in this league. A backup/ competition is needed but replacing him would be about as easy as replacing VDV or Modriç.

Fair enough mate...Hansen got on my tits though, it was just a lazy sort of thing to say.

Good luck in finding a player anywhere that doesn't have the occasional off day.

Cashley, Evra, BAE. Best three LBs in the EPL right now, with a big gap between them and the chasing pack.

I will say BAE used to really do my head in. He never used to look up and pass, always just trying to wrap his foot round the ball and kick it as hard as he could. I think Harry must have had a word because hes becoming more intelligent with the ball.
I will go as far as to say hes improved so much in the last few month its like having a new signing.
Would love us to buy Baines, but we have pinched Pienaar so cant see them being receptive to that.
Have we been linked with any leftbacks over the last 6 months?

there is a lack of quality left backs. evra and cole are best. all rest in my eyes are very very average and as good as each other. should put in bid for that benfica lad !! contreau. he is class.. by way if harry says he can see bale in left back position in future thats good enough for me.

ask any birmingham fan and they will tell you ,this is them all over,they pretend to be in for players to keep the fans happy but have no intention of going through with it.robbie was never going there once his missus said she didnt want to live there,its either london or sunderland{at a push}only because of quinn and the irish connections,the big problem is o neill not going to the spammers, he would be their manager if they had of kept their mouths shut.

You'll note that Harry has not made the left back comment even once since Guisseppe Meazza

So according to Adie we are offloading Keane and Pavlyuchenko to Sunderland, I think Fabiano will be a certainty now if thats true, £4million from the Bent sale, £6 Million for Keane = £10 million which should pay for Fabiano, Then £12 million plus whatever else we have in funds could go toward Suarez fee.

I cant really see him moving to Sunderland, always assumed that when he does leave us he will head back home to Russia.
